  • Yes Keith, Thanks.. Just a quick one- I will complete the DQ send by post to CCBC and shall I make a copy of my DQ and send it to Gladstones as well?

My suggestion is for you to re-read item 8 in the list in post #5 above - in your very own thread.
If you go back and find post # 5, you will see that you were advised to send it by e-mail to the same address that you sent your defence. You send it to claimant by e-mail (if they allow service by e-mail), otherwise post by First Class with a proof of posting from a post office counter.

We need to address the problem (not unique to this thread) that EVERYONE keeps coming back asking what to do with their DQ.

Surely it is driving everyone mad and it is taking too much needless time up.

Keith P, do you think it would help to separate your advice numbering and put a sub-heading 'NEXT STEP AFTER YOUR DEFENCE IS IN, PLEASE DON'T ASK US WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR DQ' and link bargepole's Court Procedures thread please?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The problem is that these defendants tend to be reactive instead of proactive

They fail to prepare , so prepare to fail

Quite a lot of them struggle with the defence and then think there is little or nothing to do afterwards

What they fail to realise is they are in a hurdle race of say 10 hurdles and have only jumped 3 or 4 and then are surprised when another hurdle appears in front of them , plus they also forget the advice previously received

Then they blame it on being newbies and new to the process because it's never happened before , they fail to realise that most people who help them , like me for example , have never been through the process either , but we read , digest and file away useful information and apply a dose of simple common sense , which anybody can do , newbie or not

I'll work on it, but if it becomes too long it won't be read anyway..
