Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker First Post
Hi,I changes from Scottish a power to BG back in Feb this year. I have sent numerous emails sending in my meter readings, also my Meter serial number to BG but still nothing from them.its been 8 weeks since they started my gas supply but as yet no electricity account had been set up by them.Scottish power still owe me credit from my account with them.
At the end of my tether any advise please?

The as yet unknown EDF tariff that is mentioned in this weeks email. Can existing customers move to it or is it just from people switching from another provider?

If the newsletter is anything to go by, it says :-
    - You need to be switching to EDF
So it seems likely, but not certain, that it's designed to attract new customers.

You could send them an email or secure message to ask.

  • Me and my girlfriend will be moving into our first home.
It is a new build 2 bed, we have no idea what our usage will be for gas, electricity and water.
So we are unsure what the best deal would be for us.
    Any advice would be appreciated

    regards

    Gary

As it says in the article
Q: I've just moved house, how can we compare?

A: If you can get an idea of usage figures from the previous homeowners, brilliant. These figures will give you the most accurate comparison.

If not, some comparisons offer a movers' service. Simply answer some basic questions about the house, such as size and appliance use, and it'll tell you the likely cheapest provider.

Until you switch, the energy supplied to the house will come from the supplier the previous owners used.

This is a repeat post from gazza3004 so you're wasting your time on this thread.

This is a repeat post from gazza3004 so you're wasting your time on this thread.

The new user actually posted here first.

You previously responded here too. Why have you just removed your your post?
You even mentioned in the other thread you had posted your reply here.

Anyway, my replies are not necessarily only for the person asking. Maybe others have a similar query and my response could help them too? :)

My post on this thread repeated advice posted earlier (#3385) but there had also been replies to the other post so it seemed sensible to abandon my response in this thread.

    Sorry for any confusion. :)

    Hi KTF

Just to clear up that yes, I'm afraid this tariff is only available to users switching from another supplier to EDF.

    Hope that helps.

Is there a reason why this EDF special tariff is not showing for me?
