Energy: Find the cheapest supplier & earn cashback

I have just switched from Scottish Power January 2014 online fixed tariff to the 2015 March fixed EDF one through the EDF website. I checked for cashback first but didn't notice the £30 cashback possibility from Energy Club. Shall I cancel the switch and switch again including the £30 this time? Do you think EDF would accept this?
I can't answer that question but would like to know how far you got with the process doing it with EDF direct? I have done the same switch as you but through the energyclub and although my switch shows as active on my account there I have not heard anything from EDF yet at all. The worry is with prices rising if they will pull the deal before my switch gets far enough through. So I guess you could end up better off getting the deal and missing out on the cashback (only £15 for me as just electricity). The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I only began the switch online 2 days ago so have only got the email 'Congratulations - Confirmation of your energy tariff' from edf so far.0

Cancel your switch, and start again.
(Other switching sites pay more than £30 if you use a cashback site rather than the "club")0 -

I want to switch to EDF March 17.
How do I get the most cashback from this site.(MSE)
I see over on the cheap energy page there is a link at the very bottom of the page for energyhelpline cashback.
Is that the link I need and how much do they give for a duel fuel switch?0 -
Decided to stay with nPower. I had been switched to a normal tariff, paying £65 a month, so have now locked in till April '15 saving about £65 a year. The '17 lock-in was going to cost an extra £28 a month. Couldn't find this one on a cash back site, only the '17 one.0

hi ok never switch before
so done all research i can went through cash back site n power fixed until 2014 saves me 201.77 a year
and fixed until 2017 only 39.81 a year but if rates keep going up fixed is good and cashback of 105.00 which ends today.
any advice ?
thank you in advance
oops just notice the 105 is for standard tariff which saves me 123.64 a year but this tariff goes up am i right0 -
I switch every year or so. I am currently nearing the end of my Scottish Power Online Fixed Price Energy January 2014 . It has cost me £1350 since I moved a year ago.
The Energy Club is showing the March 2015 tariff with my existing supplier as the best fixed alternative. The downside is that it will cost 10% more and will take just 7 days to switch via my SP online account.
I know it is only a decision I can make but this is a tricky one. What I'd like to do is wait until 20th December and switch. I would benefit from a couple of cold months on my old cheap tariff and still beat the price hikes for the 14/15 winter.
However I suppose it is likely that SP will pull the March 2015 fix before long.
Any ideas what I should do?0
