It says they do emirates.com but i'm not bothered who i fly with or how i even get there now as long as i get away!! I haven't taken any of the phone calls so not 100% sure on anything, just that its been sorted.

That came out wrong didn't it?

I'm sure what's happened is that they have put you on Emirates flights from Manchester to Muscat (via Dubai - both flights they do twice a day) to connect with the Oman Air flight to Bangkok. Gulf Air only fly Heathrow - Bahrain these days, Manchester flights and Heathrow - Muscat have got the chop.

That's what I was about to add. ;)

Used to fly to Muscat with Emirates quite a bit when my father worked out there. Business class - nice!

    Came out wrong?
    direct from manchester to muscat

From memory, the only direct flight was with Gulf Air. Didn't check as to whether it was still running.

I should have added the word 'directly'.

Not sure why it was posted five times. A board glitch I suppose.

Yes, the main thing is that you get there. I was just concerned that a mistake had been made.

I'll be there doing my training over the next couple of months, but probably on the South Eastern Islands.

    Have a good time.
  • Yay thank you, i will!! Whoopee, now i can relax and start planning!!
