    Hi All
Hope everyone is keeping safe and well during the current crisis. Just a quick update on the latest junk mail that I have received .
I have now started to receive letters from a debt collection agency acting on behalf of VCS, I have had 4 separate letters in the last 3 weeks. the first just asking for payment and saying if I don't pay then they may consider court action , the second letter was exactly the same as the first but with a different date on it.

The third letter was very similar in its layout but had the first line of NOTICE OF INTENDED COURT ACTION and basically said IF I don't pay by today then they will pass my file back to the client with a recommendation that they take court action against me and then goes on to list payment options and has a link to a site regarding supreme court cases ( I presume this is put on these letters as a scare tactic to make people buckle under pressure and pay up )
The last letter I received was just regarding the current Coronavirus situation and saying that they would like to help me if I'm experiencing financial difficulties and offering a payment plan for them to get their money ( how nice of them )
I presume we carry on with the plan of ignoring these letters unless I receive an official one telling me that I am actually getting taken to court ?

    Cheers

    Mark

Only four, I got seven, I ignored them all, they dropped the claim eventually.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
