Sorry but you are looking at this is completely wrong way
Dealing with parking companies is NOT like dealing with a complaint about British Gas
It requires out of the box thinking and i can assure you that Coupon mad along with a few others has seen more parking tickets then anyone else put together so she knows what she is talking about0 -
Also on the Newbies thread, if the advice to 'always complain' applies to every situation, doesn't it make sense to put this advise nearer to the top of the thread? It's also helpful for everyone to read the acronyms before they attempt to understand the rest.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0

Post #3 of the Newbies thread also advises complaining to the landowner, but the next obvious question is how do you know who owns the land? This isn't addressed.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0

It doesnt need to be addressed!, you find you, for example if its a retail park you do your research, you find out who the managing agent is and go from there
A few phone calls made in the right manner could you find you the required information,0 -

'Out of the box' thinking? What does that even mean in this context?? Are you saying that people need to be creative about how they deal with these tickets?Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -

So in the case of an airport, is it the airport or someone else? The landowner isn't always obvious.
Or are you basically saying that I'm YET again wasting my time here...because this is all so, so, very, very obvious. Coupon-mad seemed open to feedback so I'm giving it.
Carry on as you are, keep your head in the sand...make sure to call everyone who can't navigate this nightmare ENABLERS. Crazy.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
I am out, its like banging your head against a brick wall,0

Of course you're out....
I asked questions... Is it against the forum rules here to answer them?
One final question (hahaha - the irony is not lost):
What is the intention of this forum?
Leaving that with you....Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
No, it doesn't.surely this argument needs to be given in the initial appeal,
Because you would be reading current threads. The advice in the Newbie thread is to look at threads similar to your own. What, exactly, is someone supposed to take from these? How do they know that what the poster did was right or even still in line with current advice?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
