I just received a phone call from Morrison’s regarding my PCN and they confirmed that it has been cancelled. Just for other people in the same boat just ring Morrison’s head office the number is in a earlier post and ask them to contact ECP and cancel the PCN.1

The Morrisons carpark in Bolton is owned by Morrisons so there are no clauses customer can rely on but I did get the following email from them this morning.Good afternoon
I am pleased to confirm that we have issued instructions for this Parking Charge Notice to be cancelled.
Unfortunately due to the abuse we have on these car parks we have to have these controls in place but we are happy to look at, and cancel where necessary.
Thank you once again for getting in touch and please come back and see us soon.
Thanks again to all the helpful folk on here.1 -

We had a parking fine at Morrison's in Bolton, we went in to pay it and the lady at the customer service desk said she would wipe it meaning we didn't have to pay this first time but if it happened again then we would, morrisons in Bolton has stopped using Euro Car Parks and gone back to 2 hours for free again. Hope this helps0

You went in to PAY IT??
PAY IT??
You were joking, surely. No-one pays private parking charges on here. You do realise you never have to pay them (unless a Judge says so) and we fight them every day.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

For the second time in just over a year I have been issued a parking fine for leaving a car at a Morrison's car park. On the first occasion the car was allegedly left overnight when it was actually parked at home.On the second occasion, a fine received today, it is alleged that I left my car all day in the car park when in fact the car spent the day parked outside my workplace. On the first occasion we felt we had no 'evidence' so reluctantly paid the fine.On this occasion I am hopping mad and have appealed this one straightaway. My keeper charge fortunately has a blank photo above the 'alleged' exit time so there is at least a slim chance of successfully appealing this decision on the grounds that they have made a technical error on their paperwork. If I have been fined twice in this way I am sure that other customers suffer the same problem at this particular branch of Morrison's. On average, I spend between £60 and £80 a week at that store when I am at work in the town, that amounts to about £2400 a year. I've written to Morrison's, telling them this and saying I can't afford to shop there anymore. It is so hard finding addresses for people to write to that I have had to go through their customer service. Any advice welcomed.0

The advice is to read the NEWBIE sticky and then, if you still have questions, start your own thread.1

Yes I started with the Newbie bit when I set out this morning to sort this out. Could do with a direct email address into Morrisons.1 -
