Hi
I've had 5 NSDs so far. Today is a spendy day as I've an appointment in city centre followed by a flu jab. As I'm not eligible for the free one it will cost me £9.00 at large T**sco superstore near city centre and after that collect my prescription tablets from local pharmacy.

Well done Dottles1 and Money Choices
:T:T Everyone's doing really well!
Welcome Akhank:wave: It's certainly not too late to get 10 between now and the end of November! If it was me I'd do five in the first 10 days and five in the second but you know how you're placed with these things. I'm sure you can smash it :T
Beanielou, yay to your new hair!!0 -

Happy Monday, I actually keep a rough list of what's in the freezer that I update when I eat something out of it. I list what's in there and when I bought it so I know how long it's been in there. I'm not as good at keeping the list up to date as I'd like but when I do keep track of it it really helps, especially with getting rid of older stuff first. Also it makes me less inclined to buy new stuff.0 -
Today will definitely be an NSD for me so 7/10. I've got a limited budget from now till the end of the month basically - the food budget is all planned for/spent, I don't even really have money for extra chocolate lol  so will have to ration what I've got, which will do me no harm at all. Last month with my trip away was really pretty expensive so this month and next have to be frugal.
Is everyone else planning Christmas yet? Are you all hoping to stick to budgets? ... It's too easy to go crazy at Christmas!0 -
This was a challenge - no spend week?? At Uni I used to have a week a term when I spent No money - £0. Lowest I ever managed was £3. An hours walk to uni, used up food i had bought the previous week no boose. I know that there are outlays associated with work but more was spent here than I did when I was working and not trying to economise. Now semi-retired i spend nothing usually 6, sometimes as many as 5 days a week.0

Basia022, you sound a little like my dad - he's retired and super-frugal. I sometimes wish he would spend a little more, to be honest, but it's just his natural preference. It's all a matter of the right balance for each person!0 -
