Evening all

I think today may be a bit of a write off.:(
Lunch could have been worse. For lunch, I had a tiny haddock vol au vent followed by a roast turkey dinner and then my cheese board. So good bits and bad bits. I gave my sprouts to DH.
I've not eaten anything since except 1 chocolate (cherry liqueur tonight).
BUT.... many wine syns are being consumed. I'm on edge. Hope I have something to celebrate later.0 -

I made myself a plate of chips last night when I started to feel hungry. DH asked if I should be eating things like that. I know I didn't have any Speed with it but they were free so not too much damage.:D
I've got to do a meal plan and shop today. Except for some more Speed, I can make a meal from what I have in so I'll write my menu and hope for the best.
I can feel a cold coming on. The downside is that I can't really taste much but the upside is that my throat is so dry I'm drinking loads.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, skinny syrup, half banana (F), HEB porage with HEA milk
L: mushroom and tomato omelette with pickles (P,S)HM burger (P), SW chips (F), onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, something green (S)
Syns: maybe weekend wine if I feel like it, although there are fewer syns in Lemsip!:rotfl:0 -

Thanks bubbs . It would be a good idea for me to make more braised red cabbage and swede and carrot mash for the freezer at those prices. Unfortunately it's at a time when we're all busy and freezer space is limited.:(
I'll try though.
Today I bought a gammon joint. I usually cook it for Christmas Eve and then have the rest cold. As above, I'd usually make soup with the stock but Christmas Eve is the wrong time.
I bought my cheeses today. I got what I could from Aldi and the rest from Sainsburys.
All the meat for the coming week is from the freezer so trying to make some space.
It is very possible to do SW and be mse:money: but not so easy at this time of the year. :xmassmile
Did anyone watch the programme called something like 'It's your fault I'm fat'. It seemed ridiculous that they were eating shakes or smoothies and tiny meals when they could have done SW.0 -

I'm hoping to stay fairly well on track today. I'm going to a dance tonight and there's a shared buffet. I'm taking melon slices so there'll be at least one thing that's very SW friendly. I hope there will be plenty of salady things rather than just cakes and sandwiches. I'm not driving myself but I never drink alcohol when I'm dancing (need to concentrate on my steps;)) so that'll save some syns too.
The melon is from Sainsbury's ready prepared. It's an expensive way f doing it but it does guarantee it'll be ripe and ready to eat.:)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, fried eggs, ham (P)
L: JP (F) with cottage cheese (P), spring onion, pickled cabbage (S)tbc
