TMD Congratulations on a phenomenal loss. You must be feelng elated
Regarding sausages: I like the Aldi, Sainsbury's and M&S skinny sausages. They all work out at about 0.5 syns per sausage, and the taste is good. The Sainsbury's one have a slightly tougher skin to them though.
Welcome Kitty I don't go to group, and went to SW a few years ago. The new 'rules' are quite straightforward. The info on the first post is perfect to get back into the swing of things.Toomuchdebt wrote: »When did you all finish with TOTM?
I believe it's meant to be a hereditary trend, but difficult to tell in my family as mum and eldest sister both had hysterectomies late 40's, other sister is a menopause denier (she's approaching 70, so safe to say she's well out the other side;) ) and sister closest in age refused to have her coil removed for fear any would return, and she's now 57.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
I am 47 and still "regular", no sign of any hot flushes just yet!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090

Up early this morning! DH got up about 4am and I couldn't get back to sleep so ended up getting up 4.30! Bonus being we went shopping about 6 o'clock this morning! Mr Ts was completely empty apart from one other shopper the rest of the people being staff filling the shelves!
As I'm not at group I'm having a proper breakfast today rather than just fruit!
So today's plan is:
B - boiled eggs; soldiers - P; HEB + 2 for spread
L - creamy garlic mushrooms with roast potatoes - S;F + 2
D - chicken curry made with the legs & thighs from the weekend roast. Will have with some brown rice. Will also have a mini WM pitta instead of a naan - P; S; F + 3.5
HEA - milk in teas
HEB - bread
Syns - spread 2; soft cheese 2; mini pitta 3.5
Not having a drink tonight so will save the rest for the weekend wine:D

Afternoon everyone.
Belated Happy Birthday Bubbs! Mine was this week too, as usual spent at our street's illicit bonfire! We are so lucky where we live, having brilliant neighbours and a real 'community'. I have a big birthday next year and I'm determined I will be spending it somewhere sunny, not cold rainy Yorkshire.
TMD - what an absolutely fabulous loss. You have done so well and the photos of your meals look great. You do seem to have got your head around the 'rules' really quickly.
Fab loss for PIB too!
I'm still hovering just out of target range. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, I just keep losing and regaining the same 3lbs. So I've decided to stop worrying about it and just keep to plan as much as I can. Provided I don't break the next stone barrier I'll live with it.
Todays Menu
B Bacon and egg sandwich
L LO beef stew with lots of veggies, 2 satsumas, yoghurt
D Spinach and ricotta lasagne with salad
Have a good day.0 -
Afternoon all
TMD, how did you make them pancakes, they look like real pancakes?

Well done TMD, an amazing loss!
Why does real life take over, been really busy this week for some reason, luckily I had prepped food on Sunday so only had to either microwave or cook fresh veg, although yesterday had a yum dinner, melt in mouth sirloin, with mushrooms, tomatoes, onions & chips, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Feel really bloated this week, so going with an open mind this evening. Would love if I could just pierce a hole & lose the bloat:o
Beanie, you are the expert on orange smarties, how many to a syn?A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Yes, Happy Birthday from me too esmy .:) Do keep posting regularly. I know it's really helped me stay at target.
No problem using all the syns you're allowed TMD and it's your choice what you use them for. Personally I wouldn't choose ice cream but bubbs even makes her own.
Hope you get the visas sorted Denise . It is a faff doing them on line. I remember that they needed square passport photos! I was concerned that some things didn't show as uploaded but they were there. It's irritating because if they don't work you have to pay again I think. By contrast, Turkish visas are so simple. We've booked flights for Amsterdam at the end of the month so that won't need a visa, at least not at the moment! :rotfl:
Today I've had SW breakfast (porridge and milk), JP for lunch and tonight I'm out for dinner. I usually make good fish choices at this pub but wine syns will be involved so not low syn.0
