i need a secret santa idea for a young, misguided person

I'd gether something nice, you never really know anyone's background and there could be countless reasons as to why she's like this. I suffer from shyness and sometimes that is interpreted as being aloof or rude when in fact I'm not like that at all. People put up barriers and it could be a defence mechanism. It's not excuse but she is only 16. I'd go for something smelly from Boots or the BodyShop or even some of those little fluffy bedsocks, lip gloss?0

Getting your own back, and inflaming petty squabbles.
As someone who runs his own business, the thing that makes me want to just sell up and go and stack shelves at Asda is the petty mindedness of the people I employ sometimes! For goodness sake! It's only your job. Why can't you just accept that people are different, have different outlooks and understandings.
A bit more tolerance and the aquiring of a life would go an awful long way somethimes!
Rant over!!!!!
I am quite open minded but I do feel like the said young lady tries to undermind me and my collegues by being quite rude. But as other have said maybe the over the top nice approach maybe the way..................0 -
guys i have took on all your comments and am thinking of this
2 x childrens books idividual wrapped one teaches respect and the other politeness and will present in a nice girly bag with some nice smellies and choc
what do you think
im starting to think this is one big joke now. either that or you are more childish than the 16 year oldMummy to Emily age 6 and mummy to Blake age 2

I am starting to think the same. I think you should either get her something nice or dont bother. Going out of your way to deliberately put somebody down is worse then the girl having a bad attitude!0

The way i see it is that you should get her a nice present and then maybe write her a little note and put i hope you like your present from (then your name) you might find she will actually act nicer to you. Yeah she might be a stroppy teenager but wasnt we all once?? Im 21 now and i would still be dead gutted if someone got me a nasty present in my work place its lucky im self employed!
so instead of acting like she does be the better person
boots have some nice 3 for 2 with toni and guy hair products ect

If you have that much of an issue with this girl's behaviour, then you either pull her to one side and speak to her in serious "I'm trying to help you" manner, or you speak to her manager and ask her/him to have a word with this girl.
I'm sorry, but trying to send "messages" about how you find her behaviour anonymously, at a time when its christmas and a time of joy is cowardly and pathetic. More to the point, its bullying. I've been on the receiving end of this kind of behaviour both at school and at work, that just reading this made me feel quite ill.
Think about how *you* would take this kind of gift, hmm?
I strongly suggest you don't do it. Just buy her a nice secret santa gift. If she winds you up that much, as i said, speak to her manager.
