i think that may be classed as bullying.... try reverse pychology .(sorry for the spelling). if you take the time to wrap the gift nice and get something suitable she mite appreciate it and be nice. we have all been a stroppy teenager at sometimeMummy to Emily age 6 and mummy to Blake age 2

dont be too hard on her, at 16 she wont have much confidence, and will feel like a fish out of water in her first job working with adults.
teenagers get very defensive when they feel put down.
christmas is the ideal time to help improve things.....goodwill to all men etc etc etc0 -
The little book of good manners though it is around £5. If you work with this girl making an obvious point may not be the way forward. It would probably be lost on a 16 year old anyway.0

I think just buy chocolate and rise above it.
As it could come back to bite you, if she feels that she is being picked on in a work enviroment and then it wouldnt be as funny anymore. Good luck0 -

If you want to do the manners bit go for the computer written free ones or internet print outs or websites to make your point- But then also cater for the 16 year old sense of being a fish out of water and trying to make their mark by not conforming in a nice girly cosmetic set or cheap trash from claires or new look?? along with a cheap bottle of pomagnge or lambrini!0
