It's back! Tried to look on here a while ago and it wasn't working.
Not that I've anything to report. I had a bath, then a snooze, then read the Sunday paper magazine.
It's a hard life....0 -
Am home from work and so far i have, er.......ahem..... started my shopping list for Mr T (can get a delivery tomorrow:D ). Have also done an order with wilkinsons and play.com, managed to get a £5 off voucher to work with that and its already tracked on quidco:money: .
Best get on with the food shop or i will loose my slot.0 -
Just this weekend http://www.durhammarkets.co.uk/market.htm info is on there. To be honest it gets VERY busy, as in absolutely manic, so part of me is thinking best I stayed in. I popped into Durham and went into one shop then came away again yesterday as there was no sign of getting parked my partner just dropped us off then came back, my friend waited 25 minutes in the queue for the carpark at Prince Bishops, gave up, went back and got the park and ride from Carrville instead. 2 farmers markets on however, 13th and 20th I think it said, so I might venture in when one of those are on.
Maybe glad I missed it then! Might persuade my Mam to have a look through for one of the Farmers' Markets instead - probably using the park and ride. My parking's not the best anyway but it seems to have completely gone to pot since I got pregnant - don't know how that's connected but it's true!0 -
Shell, where did you find the voucher? Was it for Play? Share if you can, purlease
I have the boys birthday presents to order aswell as Christmas, not many posting days between Christmas and DS2s birthday on the 4th so I tend to buy them before.
chocaholic I didn't drive until after the boys were born so no experience of pregnant driving, but my friend refused to drive when she was expecting after a few near misses when she first found out!Must be a connection somewhere :rotfl: The farmers markets are usually quite good, it's a while since I have been to one, I live closer to Chester Le Street now than Durham and I don't think they have them there. The one in Barnard Castle was great when I last went there. http://www.northumbria-larder.co.uk/markets.html quite few listed on there
Well, kitchens much better, dining table hasn't been touchedit would probably get done more often if we used it more but we eat mostly in the utility, using the dining table on Sundays when DP is home (rare lately) maybe if I use it more it'll give me a kick up the bum to keep it clear. I might start wrapping presents on there tonight, that means I will have to clear it.
One day I might be more organised...........

See, I KNEW there was a connection! I actually learned to drive while pregnant with DS1 - no wonder it took me 8 months to pass!
I'e been to the Barnard castle farmer's market a few times - my Mam used to sell pies there so we would go along and see them for moral support (and free pies, lol!)0 -

Had a bit of a horror yesterday if that DH texted me to say he had seen a rat run up the grapevine that is over the pergona in the garden, it took some grapes with it back under the decking:eek: . So girls bedroom will not be aired until its cut back as it could sneak in through their window. So I guess I need to hack it back and get rid of all the grapes that are still on it (but I am scared, visions of it leaping at me:eek: ).
Ah so that's where the missing one went
Wild rats will generally keep away from people so I doubt it'll leap out at you.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
Not in a very happy mood now to say the least. A week ago I posted about a lad had been killed in Iraq from up here, just found out it's someone I know and have known since I was 13. A little bit gutted, he was one of those cute happy lads, dead shy at first, I've got loads of photos of him somewhere all blushing. Know he had 2 little ones aswell, they'll be about the same ages as my 2, maybe slightly younger
just so sad for them aswell not to have their Daddy with them this Christmas or for the rest of their lives
Right, dining table won't do itself, time to find the tissues and get on with it, DP says he'll be home about 7.30pm so will have to make his tea then....or do I be lazy and send him to the chinese. One day I might be more organised...........
