My Mum is a Mad Nanna (thats what the kids call her:D ), and yes she is a jean wearing nutter. Not a fluffy cardi in sight.
My MIL is 'Batty Nanna' .. because she is batty.
My stepdad is 'Bap' ... he is so 'young and hip' (he is 'only' 60 in December after all) and won't be called grandad!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Well, I have to say, I really do like my feather duster - the feathers have something in them that attract dust like a magnet, so it sort of sticks to them. Then I shake it outside the window and loads floats off. Couldn't advise where I got it from now though - is it worth trying somewhere like Robert Dyas in case they do them?

I agree with you here - RAF or Navy seems less brutal for some reason, although I don't suppose it is, and it does seem less likely for cannon fodder to be used in these professions somehow.

Rumbly.. I'm so glad it isn't just me that feels like that. DS1 thinks I am 'just a snob' .. I'd much prefer if he did something that didn't include being shot at/blown up/tortured... or maybe I'm just wierd! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

afternoon ladies
Been to Lidl and managed to get 2 xmas bits whilst in there - a really cute musical tin with chocolate teddies in and a domino set where you stand them up and knock them down like on record breakers.
Also did a shop in waitrose as I have some vouchers for there at the moment.
Just going to make a cuppa then it will be time to get DS3 - where has the day gone? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
My son is in the RAF and the most exotic place he's been to is Cyprus, which suits me fine. Of course you can't guarantee he won't be sent to Basra or Afghanistan but it's less likely than if he was in the Army. I just keep everything crossed.0
