Hello. Hope you're all ok today.

DH is back home and I'm back at the paid stuff today. Dailies are done. Mountains of washing being tackled. Lots of household admin to catch up on, not least the finances as parking at the hospital was £10 per day.

Crawls in seeking sanctuary .... MM has moaned every bit of today. How can one person hold so much moan? I have my last counselling session tonight - boy do I need it. It's exhausting listening to so much opinion. I wondered if she had maybe saved it up for me while I was on leave - but apparently she moans to everyone else when I'm not there. I say again: how can one, not very tall but quite round, person hold so much moan? It's a mystery to me.

    Much love to you all.

  • Good afternoon :D

I'm glad DH is back home Jazee

I managed to unstack the DW and reload before I went to bed. I told DH that I would wash up in the morning, but he had done it by the time I got up. Before work I managed to hoover the LR, sweep the back room, hall & kitchen, wipe down the kitchen surfaces, retrieve the large play tray from the shed, walk the dog and have breakfast & check the back accounts.
Visit from LA went well. The LB I look after played happily with some lavender rice on the play tray, and she said that I knew him well considering I have only had him a few weeks :) After she left I fed him and put him down for a nap. I cleaned up the toys, and hoovered again as there was rice everywhere! Still, at least it smells nice. He has gone home now, so I can chill while watching Gardeners World before picking up DD from work. I am shattered as I didn't sleep too well last night.

Hugs to those that need them

Hey everybody! Joining the thread in the hopes it encourages me not to be such a slob. :) (Im getting better, I swear!),
    today Ive walked the dogs
depooped the garden (4 dog children so I do that at least once a day)
    made the bed
    WM on x 2
    cleaned a couple of windows
swept and mopped all the floors (had a spraymop delivered yesterday and was having fun playing with it!)
    cleaned bathroom
    sorted mail into recycling.
Hope I dont have to do things in the order at the start of the thread....Im more of a random flitterer then an organized worker bee!
  • Not been hear for a couple of days, had to sort out elderly parents... for now as it seems endless.

Still managing to do my dailies. Bathroom, bedroom and hall looking really good.
I`ve been avoiding the living room and kitchen apart from the basics. I really need to get my brain in gear. Dreading washing the net curtains but they really need doing.

I`m beginning to think I`m the only person in the world that can`t cope with Christmas.
DH and I are going away as I want to escape. It`s the expense and forced jollity I can`t handle.
Kids and grandkids get money instead of presents, I avoid the shops and do grocery shopping online till the new year as the crowds get too much. It just makes me really depressed.

Sorry for being so depressive, it`s only October and there`s weeks of it ahead
