Just popped another load in, bright blue sky. Good. Back in bed with a coffee.
I am going to be gifted an unused teasmaid so I'm looking forward to trying it out.
    Three loads washed, DW run.
    I feel much better.
Today I need to clean out the bunnies. And take pictures.
I also need to pop to town.

    QUESTION

    PICK'N'MIX TO CONTINUE?

    Morning

Oh golly - I've caught myself unawares :( It's a year today since I last saw Mum. A year today since I last heard her voice. A year today since I said 'Bye Mum' not knowing that was the last thing I'd ever say to her. Of course it was tomorrow date-wise but it was the Sunday (and she died on the Tuesday but I wasn't there. In fact my brother texted me, at work, to say 'Sorry Don - she's gone' two hours after texting me to say Mum was stable and asleep!!!! but that's another story)

We didn't always get on, in fact we often drove each other nuts. She didn't like me much, and for years I think I hated her, but, thank goodness, we met somewhere in the middle and the last few years we did get on and I allowed myself to love her. A bit like loving an angry porcupine but love all the same. I am so grateful for those years.

Flying: I forgot I'd set some towels swishing yesterday so I've given them another quick swish and another load is now swishing. I changed my clocks this morning. My bed is made. I've had a good cry - sometimes you just have to let yourself :o

Going to get washed and dressed now.

aww round - these memories are hard to cope with. My sister and I told each other we loved each other; I never saw her conscious/lucid after that. It's a tiny consolation if the last words were appropriate.

3 loads of washing blowing in the breezy sunshine - and I'm hoping the sun will bleach out what the detergent didn't finish.

The rabbits are enjoying a run in the sunshine and have free time in the garden (they go in a run when I'm not home). They enjoy a graze; I'm going to need to move the run round the lawn often!

I'm just finishing my breakfast then going to clean the hutch.

    WUDUPA
    fed the birds
put out the rubbish and recycling
    washing pegged out

    That's the dailies done.

I've also wiped S&S the kitchen - not used to that being a 'daily' yet.

Last load has just finished swishing so I'll peg that out too.

Unpegged, folded, and brought in the dry washing.
Knock at the door - neighbour has brought me flowers :heartsmil We couldn't speak - she recently lost her Dad. So we hugged each other and cried instead.
Flowers trimmed and placed in vase :D

DS is home from his night out in Manchester with his mates but will soon be heading off to GF's in pigpen land. He's gone to see his Grandad - my Dad - who is not well :( As in, says he's going to see the doctor tomorrow  so he must be feeling rough.

Anyone guessing who'll be leaving Strictly tonight?

    bed made
    laundry sorted
    floors swept/mopped
    everything dustable dusted
    kitchen cleaned
    bathroom cleaned
desk tidied (so many crumbs underneath my keyboard! must stop eating sammiches whilst surfing).
  • What is it about Sunday mornings?

Started the day chasing Idiot Cat down with a broom, as per cartoons, as not only had he got himself a mouse, he had brought it in, decided it wasn't warm enough downstairs and wanted to dismember it in the bedroom AND IT WAS STILL ALIVE.

Horrid little beast was most put out to be banished with his victim into the chilly garden.

Loads of washing and drying done. Appliances cleaned. Countertops done. Bed stripped and washed, but not replaced because Sleeping Beauty, who slept from 8pm to 4am and was asleep again at 7-11.30pm, snoring on the settee from 2-3pm, is now snorting on the unmade bed and has been since 4.

If he thinks this gets him out of housework or even attempts to complain he can't sleep or is tired in the morning, he can stuff right off.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
