Round, it must be some consolation to you that MM moans at everyone else when you're not there! Use earplugs? Put up a "Woman at work - please do not disturb" sign?

See.. I go back to my original suggestion.. tell her to !!!!!! and have a mega-b!tch flounce.. Throw some Piggy out there!!

Thank you ladies xx What I've actually done is email my supervisor and the Team Manager and told them what the counsellor (paid for by work after I went off with stress) said in my final session on Wednesday: I seem to be handling the situation well but I need to be out of there. The reply? They hope to have me out of there by mid-November. So we'll see.

Home alone this weekend. WM is swishing with first load after Mount Washmore was sorted. Laundry hamper is now stood where it is going to live on the landing where it can catch dirty clothes and keep them hidden :D. I want to put out the recycling and feed the birds but it's tipping down :( I've been online and ordered a couple of birthday and Christmas presents. Tick. Tick. I bought Advent calendars in the week - they need to be stashed in a drawer for a month. I have a magazine rack to assemble and I may assemble the shoe rack whilst I have my screwdrivers out :D

I know how to lead the high life :rotfl:

Prepaid Prescription Certificate purchased for another year.

Then I'll be 60 and eligible for free prescriptions apparently.

    Every little helps :D

  • Good morning :D

I am up late (again!) and missed Parkrun (again!). I am feeling fat & sluggish, so I need to get back into it. However, I had my hair cut & straightened yesterday, and I am out-out tonight, so if avoid getting it wet (might have to stay indoors!!) I am good to go tonight! That is my excuse, and I am sticking to it! :rotfl:

I have got dressed, had breakfast and partly unstacked the DW while breakkie was cooking. I need to put on the WM, empty the TD & DW, reload DW, wash up and clean the kitchen. At the moment I am chatting to DS about life, the universe and everything, but I really need to start moving!!

I hope everyone has a good day
  • Well, I have washed up, emptied DW & TD, put on WM and S&S the kitchen. I am now contemplating having lunch, but I only breakfast at 10:45 - is that too soon? I have also cleaned up the cat pee at the bottom of the stairs courtesy of my geriatric cat. The flooring has been pull back, sprayed with anti-urine stuff and left to dry. Then I think I will wipe it over with some smelly zoflora, and maybe sprinkle with bicarb. I also need to remind her where the litter tray is! But I still love her :)

Ok - I am off to empty the WM.

    Hi all

    Forgot to post this morning!

    Food shop done
    Whole house cleaned
    Bedding changed
    Laundry done

Planning on going out tomorrow weather permitting. It’s been grim here and is now quite cold so I am snuggled up with the heating on.

Hope you are all well, it’s quiet on here today xx
  • Met Himself in the pub after he finished work and talked nonsense for a bit.

Came back via the supermarket, where I got food for today and tomorrow, much to his discomfort.

Whisked quickly over the kitchen whilst he got changed, as we got rained on and cold on the way back - sink, countertop, SC and the top of the WM. Shoved the ingredients for curry into the SC for tonight and left them to do their thing.

He's made something to eat in the meantime, put the heating on as we were still cold an hour after we got in and is now clearing up from what he's made. :j

I think this evening is a songwriting session. Ended up doing something last night and, although it went on far too late, it was productive. Quite stressful though, as I've got some sort of switch in my head which flicks from Relationship to Working and I get frustrated by his chattiness and diversions when I want to record. Then he wanted to continue talking for hours afterwards when I just wanted to go to sleep because it was so late.

Last day of week off tomorrow. At least the clocks changing will help deal with some of the shock from going back to getting up at stupid o'clock Monday morning.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

I'm glad you mentioned this Jojo I had no idea that the clocks changed tonight. Thank you xx

Finally managed to feed the birds and put out the recycling - but I had to put on my wellies and big coat to do so. Better day tomorrow according to the weather forecast - woot woot.

Evening all. Sorry I haven't posted much this week - I haven't been feeling very well, and some days it's been a struggle just to get the basics done/ Fortunately DH is reasonably OK, but still awaiting one result from the investigation and still quite immobile.

    Today I have
    - cleaned the kitchen worktops
    - done WM+TD x3
    - done HHI (new bedding which creased in the TD)
    - FUPA previously aired washing
    - taken Rosie for a walk during the period of least heavy rain
    - wasted time trying to buy something online
    - done a bit of reading
    - sorted out the paperwork for a meeting on Monday
    Not much, but it's something!

Hope that nobody is flooded out and all families are safe xx

Having battled a cold last week I succumbed to a minor tummy bug (ie D but no V) - last night's meal out was somewhat marred by massive thirst - and me drinking hardly any wine. My friends were convinced I was ill ...
    headache all day too.
    Beginning to feel better.
I have changed my bed. It's going to be fine tomorrow so I'm hoping to get the bedding line-dried.
I've also read an entire book today - After Anna by Alex Lake.
So I've got my reading mojo back.
