    Morning all

I'm in this week, hope to flutter along a bit over the next 2 weeks as no kids groups. Playroom needs to be emptied and sorted so it can have a pellet stove fitted and be turned into a dining room. They're cominf to remove the old wallpaperon 12th so I have a deadline DD2 home next week so she can help as much of the stuff is hers.

Weekend was productive, OH helped sort out the archived paperwork that had got water damaged so now have an empty cupboard, drying and bulging bins and reclying. Also working on catalogueing all our books, half done so far but both keen to get it done and are going to tackle a shelf at a time in the evenings. Then he will hopefully stop buying repeat books. How many copies of "The constant gardener" do you need!

Nails just painted as out for lunch with a couple of friends, thenhairdressers this afternoon so rather a "me" day.

But living room, kitchen and bedroom tidy.

Have got a few emails to send so will do them next with coffee

MM, a friend of mine carries a little a-z address book with her when shopping for books which lists all the books she already has.

    Soup is simmering.

WMx1 of many is in and should be nearly finished by now.
Cuppa made and drunk (always the best one of the day;)) whilst catching up on the news (which is as depressing as ever :().
    Finances checked.
Now trying to get my brain into gear by clearing bits of paper off my desk.
Today I need to sit and do some study reading.

Breakfast first, though. I'm in charge today because of DH's diet. Don't think I can bear to eat any more of that cotton wool bread...

(((Hugs))) to Jazee and anyone else in need of them today x

Washing not pegged out yet - but I have just purchased a magazine rack and a laundry bin, as well as 2020 calendars (for me and Dad) and a couple of Christmas presents - so that's that started too.

Is it sad to be excited about buying a receptacle for dirty washing?

Yesterday's laundry shuffled, and another two batches of mincemeat made. It took three hours, so I'm a bit behind. Now on to the last two batches of pear and ginger chutney - I hope.

I want to get this preserving storm finished so that I can make Layla a new harness. I've waited six months for the manufacturers to have her size and colour in stock and they still can't give me a date, so I got Kelpie's down from the attic and I've got all the nesesssary bits for a tiny fraction of what they charge. Let's see how many I need to make before I get the perfect fit.

I think I have a Toots List at last. It has 24 jobs on it, and I have two other lists of things to do but wouldn't it amazing to have a completed Toot's List? Flying task-wise for today, I foresee some high dusting that badly needs to be done. That would be a huge tick.
    Better is good enough.

Not sad at all, Round - I bought myself a new laundry bin last week and am delighted with it! The bin looks much nicer than a pile of dirty washing in the corner ;)

Very creative and :money: Honey Bear :D

    WMx2 on the go.
DH has cut my hair (at my request) and made a half decent job of it  Good thing it's a "no. 7 all over" and won't take long to grow out, and I can live with his artistry until then :rotfl:

It certainly would HB. Pigs might fly before that happens at this house - but my money is on you getting it done. :D

That is my thinking ionafan :D a bin on the landing rather than a pile of dirty clothes in front of WM. And magazines neatly stashed in a magazine rack (in date order :D) rather than strewn here there and everywhere.

WM load No 2 has finished swishing. Load 1 is pegged out - but whether it's drying or not - meh, dunno. So this load can go on the airer.

Then I'm going to sort this binbag full of clothes.

    Plan :T
