It's always a good day, when you log onto our bank and you can see your wages pending to be paid tomorrow. Had a bit of a spendy day.Hubby's claim has cleared £101.24 taking balance to £109.52Fuel £33.08Asda £12.44Aldi £26.97Dentist check up for me £23.80Balance £13.23 have pinged it across to H loan as an overpayment. It's not as much as I'd liked to have left, but I'm still delighted we're not in the overdraft. Especially after hubby has been away most of the month and we've had two family birthdays. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230

We made it! Pay day and no overdraft use or credit card spending - Feb was a great money month. Here's hoping March is as good.
March is looking quiet thanks to lack of plans and lockdown. My car is booked in to investigate a warning light - hoping just faulty sensor. I've budgeted £300 but hopefully will be less.
hubby's claim for overnight payment has paid for whilst he was away. They've managed to over pay him by £140 so they'll deduct it bavk from next month. I'll move it across to savings then back at the end of April.
Need to tally up my extra income in Feb, but I've definitely smashed my £100 target. I've withdrawn another £5 amazon voucher today, and £5.36 cash in a survey site. I had another eBay £4.99sale yesterday and another item ended today has a bid of £4.99. I'll get them posted to sort out profit after all the fees.
Eldest daughter is a different young person today! She's woken up with a spring in her step. I don't think we can understand the stress the GCSEs causes. She's a grafter and has excellent grades throughout y10&11 so plenty of evidence for her teachers. I'm sure she'll be happy on results day. I just feel for DD2 who has to face exams next year!

Direct debits still flying out and the budget is set. Today will be 1st of March - concentrating
on trying to hit 20 NSD the month. I've got a parcel to send for item I sold. Will nip down to the post office and get that on its way this morning.
Today is going to be a cleaning and tidying day. Hoping to get all my jobs done today, as have a medical appointment tomorrow. I'm finally getting a second opinion on a long standing issue. Just hopeful the consultant may be a miracle worker. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
Managed to complete out 1st NSD of March. Took the fog out with my hubby and it took quite a lot of persuading for him not to go buy choccy! My tummy and the budget will healthy if we stop the junk shopping.
Hit the withhdraw button on a survey site for my first cash out of March. Cash went straight to PayPal then swiftly into my Xmas pot.£5.81 / £100 target.
The interest has been added to my loan, but it's lower than I thought it would be. Good to see the extra payments having an impact already.
Interest added
1/1/21 £36.80
1/2/21 £35.85
1/3/21 £30.92
It's an eye opener that it's costing us £1 a day for the privilege of owing them money! Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230
