Hi sorry for not posting - I'm still at it and might be lass over this month - will check spending tonight or over weekend. Have started this w 3 NSD days - not sure how today will pan out, I think I'll get some stuff for dinner and lunches, and might do a big £60 shop in Tesc0 to get the 10% off - except all the half price deals in T is for stuff I really don't need and the most I'll save on fuel is £5-6.
So still thinking on this one.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
Emergency fund: 100/1000 10%
Weight loose 8.6 kg - while having fun. 0/8.6 0%

So 3 NSD in a row broken today
€1.43 spent as I needed more mayonnaise and a small bottle of water as I was parched
€16.47 left:money::rotfl::T0 -
We have spent £16.27 since last post.
Not in the above but we picked up 2 surge protected extention with 4 plug sockets and 2 usb ports for just £3.75 each . Had our eyes on these exact ones for a while but they were going for £15+ everywhere and although we know they are great (we have a few of these around and a 6 plug one) we didn't have the budget right now for that. However 2 for half the price of one we could justify that easily. Only needed one but we picked up two to have a spare as some of the ones we have are rather old now.
OH is having prosciutto cappelletti with a pepperoni and tomato sauce for dinner.
I'm having vegetable stir fry with inari for dinner.
£193.30/£210.
£16.70 left.
Hoping to get through the month within budget but as always I'm not going to be too annoyed if we go over by 5% (£10.50). We both call that a win.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy0 -
Got my weekly shop being delivered tomorrow :j
managed to shave it down to £51.49 that's a lot lower than previous weeks :T

Hello everyone,
tessie bear, thankyou for your rocky road ideas, I love that!
A couple more small shopping expeditions for me brings me to £174.90, might just be able to do it!
At the start of each monthly challenge I always think I'll fail miserably....but.....it always seems to pan itself out (but better not speak too soon ).
Only cleaning and toiletry stuff I've needed so far this month is a box of washing powder. Helps that we use bars of soap, shampoo, conditioner and face cleanser - they last for ages!!
(DD buys all her own).
Good luck everyone:p0 -
Some small spends including some extra lunches bought at work by DH puts us on £347.05/£400 with 6 days to go! I still have an £8 off £40 shop to use this week.
Off to rummage in the freezer and make a strict meal plan so I can come in on budget. That would only be the 2nd time in all the years I have done the GC :rotfl: I'm not counting my chickens yet!Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -
I did do a meal plan for the rest of the month but I've ended up spending a lot today.
I got bread, milk, yogurt, a pizza, tea, bananas , tomatoes and cheese.
Tea was soup out of the freezer (two different ones!) and a cheese and salad sandwich. This will be enough for me and I say to OH if he wants anything else he can get it himself!
Also had to forget about the veg box...it would have sunk me...not that I'm out of the woods yet but will try!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
