Remember, if you have now received the amended POC, you have 14 days (from date of receipt of the POC) to submit your amended defence - do not miss that deadline.

The letter from the court says I have until 5 March?

OK, go with what the court states.  I thought, in an earlier post, you showed a court order that said 14 days after the claimant had filed revised POC but if you have up-to-date info you have more time.

Court date set. What next? It says witness statement - is this my opportunity to talk? Any tips? I have the photos of the poor signage.
Is the car park company likely to approach me to negotiate? Should I approach them? Thanks!

    1) What do you mean, what next? 1 is very clear. It is ALL documents. WS PLUS exhibits such as photos.
The enwbies thread is very clear on witness statements andwhat they say and what they dont - have you gone back to it?
    2) well you could offer them drop hands, walk away no costs if they discontinue the claim. But theyre likely to offer you about 20% off - why would you accept that?!

The NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post, has a specific section headed:

Cheers. Would it reflect favourably on me if I did try to negotiate? Do I copy the court into my negotations?

Any negotiation offering a lower figure could be interpreted as the acceptance of liability by the court. That's why everything at a negotiation stage should be on a 'Without Prejudice, Save as to Costs' basis. Google will explain.

If/when you have the scammer's WS, please post it here for the regulars to look over. Only redact YOUR personal data. If the scammers have redacted anything, please tell us.
If their WS is excessively long, then post the first page giving the name of the (para)legal who wrote it, the last page with the legal's signature and statement of truth, plus their exhibits/evidence.
The most important thing to show us, UNREDACTED, is the alleged contract between the scammers and landowner.

I must stress the importance of the words I have highlighted. I have seen about a dozen scammers' witness statements this year, and over half of them had things redacted by the poster making our job much harder, and wasting a lot of everyone's time.

Hopefully you will have it before you you need to send yours so you can comment upon it and add points that help you.
