  • Please, please, just read the NEWBIES thread, post #2 about what to do and what happens when and how a WS is different from a defence.   It even walks you through AOS online, with pictures of every page.

Your questions tell us that you haven't read it yet.

No-one makes phone calls to the court, that would be a waste of time and doesn't give you proof of what was said.
Thanks. I have read it all. I meant should I call the court to update them on my change of address? I know they can’t give case details over the phone - and wouldn’t expect them to.
  • No, don't call.
    Writing.everything in writing. Every time.

    AoS submitted just now.
Why on earth did you do that?

Less than two hours ago I wrote:
With a Claim Issue Date of 23rd September, you have until Monday 12th October to file an Acknowledgment of Service. If possible, do not file an AoS before 29th September, but otherwise, there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.

That means that you now have less time for filing your Defence.

You revised target date for filing your Defence is now Friday 23rd October 2020.
This is not going to take me a month to do. I will have the defence submitted on Monday. I want it done and out of the way rapid.

And to emphasise, do NOT put anything in the defence box - not even a full stop - when filing the AoS

at thje moment there is no court allocated , so no court to even telephone , not that you would telephone because everything is done IN WRITING

and I can see your VRM details on that picture of the POC you posted

as for the defence, use the template defence by coupon mad and adapt it

The template defence is where we already pointed you to.  Hope you have read enough to know that 'getting it done' merely moves you on to the next stages, all of which require a response from you? That's why we need you to read the NEWBIES thread fully, including under the red heading 'KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN' because it sounds like you are rushing.
