i'm ashamed to say i target cars occupying 2 spaces with a kiss of my car keys when i see them.

    I'm not a nice person /shrug.

It's ignorant and inconsiderate to occupy more spaces than are necessary. However, I don't see how that justifies criminal damage.

True on that point. We found that with the old MGF and the current MX5. Another reason for enjoying shopping at Bluewater - which has plenty of larger spaces all round. And still there are idiots who park on the walkways rather than go 100m to the next section...

That would be me! No longer use parent and child spaces because a nine year old, though still in a booster seat, doesn't warrant one. One of my favourite acts of retribution was to write "selfish twit" or similar on all the windows using whichever gooey lipstick or lip gloss I had in my bag. Two minutes saved by parking selfishly to be nearer to the shop warrants them being forced to spend several more removing Chanel's finest. :A

.... another favourite when remonstrating with a child free motorist whose excuse for parking in a parent and child bay was because they had a shiny, new car was to tell them that if they were going to be that discourteous then I would do the same .... and not bother taking my trolley back to the trolley park but leave it next to my car to roll wherever it wished. Surprisingly enough they usually got back in their car and moved it. If they didn't I would leave my trolley next to their car and left karma to decide what the result was - I had given them fair warning.

Wow - you can tell someone didnt have a child with them just by looking at a parked car.

    Amazing!

You're either a fantasist or a very sad individual, one of the two.

No - I can tell when someone gets out of a car and they don't have a child with them as children aren't invisible.

Or a parent who used to get !!!!ed off on a regular basis by finding that they couldn't park in a parent and child bay because some selfish !!!! had parked there instead. As so many regular parking bays are very narrow it's nearly impossible to extricate a baby car seat or unbuckle a toddler without your door touching the car next to you, potentially scratching/ dinging it. The only sad individuals are the selfish oafs who park in bays they're not supposed to, so, yes I would remonstrate with them, and still do, if I see someone parking in this way.

    Thank you!

I always thought these spaces were for people who had to deal with getting immobile kids out of car seats or unfolding buggies/prams etc. You see so many spry kids of about 11 jumping out if 4x4s in those spaces it’s infuriating, and I don’t even have kids!

So you stand there, wait until they've left and then write on the back window of their car with Chanels finest lipstick?

    Uh huh.

    Seems legit.
