Nice car, two door Mercedes cab

Parent and Child spaces My first choice
    End of row second

    Otherwise, take up two spaces

You must be wrong. A FRED agrees with you.

The above seems good advice if you have a nice car and wish to avoid the actions of selfish thoughtless morons.

Perhaps the conker tress predate the car park?

I'm not sure how long horse chestnut trees live, but my road predates the Romans.
I reckon the trees went in long after it first appeared on the Antonine itinerary.

Things have been made worse with the trend of oversize SUV type cars used as shoppers that barely fit into parking spaces. This has been a reason for me to use more Amazon and less bricks and mortar shopping, I hate typical UK car parks.

Found driving in the US much easier due to wide streets and generous sized parking bays everywhere.

Cars generally have got bigger, but parking spaces havent.

Even your typical Passat will be the absolute full of a car park space, leaving it difficult to get in and out

I do agree re: shopping online. I'd say 95% of my shopping i do online now, either in terms of having specific items delivered or shopping delivered by the supermarket. I get no pleasure from walking around a supermarket or shopping centre, so i chose not to whenever possible.

Why do you think you have the right to occupy two spaces?

Why do other people think they have the right to whack their doors off someone elses car and damage it, but take no responsibility for it?

This is why "sleeper" cars were invented.

    Indeed :)

A few years ago, i'd a VW Caddy van fitted with a 2.8 litre VR6 engine. That surprised a few people when it started up.

Have also had a Volvo S40 that had the 2.5T engine that the Focus ST used and modded to 260BHP in the OAP colour combo of burgundy with grey leather. :D

You've let your £60,000 Alfa Guilia get whacked repeated by other peoples doors?

Duh, he’s got a posh car! Don’t you realise that makes him more important than me or you?

2 car park spaces, a car in the cinema car park did this, they were on the end space but went over the next one, plenty of room the other side. So I thought let's go next to them and I did, and also n the lines of my space my side right at the edge. Told my nephew to climb over and come out my side .

Your friend parks in disabled bays for the sake of his car?

Have you let him know that makes him a complete knob end?

It's very convenient how the places he parks are all close to the store, back of the car park are the quietest, they are probably scared of a little rain, bless.

Taking up two spaces is only selfish if you do it (a) near the shop doors if it's a shop, or (b) if the car park will fill up. It's reasonable to do if you park at the far side in a car park that won't fill up.
