NHS emergency badge...UKPC, private estate

Thank you so much for all of your replies, especially on a Sunday afternoon!
To clarify: our HEB should only be used in an “emergency”, although in practice, this can probably be difficult to quantify. On the day in question, I knew that it probably wasn’t a life-threatening situation, the baby had been seen previously and was known to be well the day before. Nevertheless, we listen to parents’ concerns, it’s always best to check, and babies can, and do, get sick very quickly. I have no problem with parking elsewhere and walking to an address, but the estate has a busy health centre within, and as the off-street parking nearby was full, I didn’t want to waste any time so I parked in the bay, with my badge.
Huge thanks to KeithP for pointing out the paragraph in the code of practice, I am definitely going to hit them with this. We have been discussing this at work and we don’t think that midwives, health visitors, doctors, outreach teams (working with seriously ill children and their families), and so on, should be penalised by these companies. If we cannot park without incurring financial penalties, then we will not be able to carry out our duties and our patients will suffer.
UKPC sent me half a dozen pics, clearly showing my badge, and even one of the inside of my car, showing my diary (with my name on, sadly!) and some of my equipment. I can’t believe that they still wouldn’t uphold my appeal, which I had to send 3 times as they kept asking for more information....which I cannot give as I am bound by the Data Protection laws, so can’t give details of my patient.
I’ll work on a draft this evening and will run it by you guys before sending it. Again, many thanks, this forum always comes up trumps!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -

I would not be surprised if the parking goon did / does not know what a HEB badge is!
a complaint to the BPA is next .... and at the same time get your MP involved.
This is a case that the 'Daily Hate' may run if they are told.

hardly routine , if it was the perents would not have asked for home visit0 -
The PPC employees better just hope they don't live in a block like this one the OP is talking about and have need of emergency (or otherwise) treatment only to be told that the doctor/nurse/health care worker will be with them in an hour after they've parked in the street and walked because they aren't allowed to park in the flats/apartment parking!0

What sort of information are they asking for?
The first two times, I sent them details of the mum’s concerns about the baby, and reiterated that I cannot divulge details of my patients. I stressed the urgency of the visit, and the fact that the badge was clearly seen in their photos.
By the third request for more details, I had lost patience and asked them exactly what sort of information they wanted and needed. That’s when I got the notice that my appeal had been declined. I was on holiday at the time!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0
