Anyone having trouble with post office savings?

Is there anyway of withdrawing money from PO savings account other than via the PO website which transfers the funds to linked account?
Given the technical issues, I was hoping there would be a way to withdraw funds at a Post Office, but I doubt this will be possible.0 -

However, their Online Saver isn't one of them, if that's what you were referring to....0 -
Myself, mum and sister started having the issue of being thrown out of our accounts recently when trying to edit/cancel a DD.
I have had accounts for 5 years from issue 11 to issue 31. I have held 8 sole accounts and 3 joint accounts over the years without any problems.
I contacted the PO on Saturday and they were unable to help. She had me try editing/cancelling and I kept being thrown out with the error message.
She also commented on the number of accounts that I held and I told her that I only took the offers that the PO offered me when I logged into my account. She said that must have been in the past as now you are only allowed 1 sole and 1 joint.
On Monday I thought I'd try again and was able to move money out of my accounts and also close accounts (as it wasn't even allowing this before).
I decided to close some of the accounts that had become dormant recently due to closures of BoS and having no use for them anymore. I now have 6 soles and 1 joint.0 -

3. Is anyone with multiple savers blocked from withdrawals/transfers, and what is the pattern?

Previously terms stated 1 per Issue, now terms state as people have mentioned, withdrawal of funds problem I was told I had to agree to close excess accounts before I could be transferred to technical department.
I phoned back on 17th after I had decided which account to keep open, most of the funds were moved to that account which I withdrew whilst on the phone.
I was told that a couple of accounts couldnt be closed due to direct debits in progress, just looked I have total of 7 accounts open still collecting 1.00 direct debit.0 -
Are people having trouble because they are in breach of the T&Cs, or is it just because the website's carp? Or are the staff just making excuses when people ring up?I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

Possibly all threeRetired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."0 -

I was thinking of closing most of mine down now. Just keeping a weekly dd going for my Co-Op Account. I must have about 20 of the blooming things - four of one issue, two of another and the rest all different issuesI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -

So some questions for the MSE audiance
1. Does any one just have one PO saver, and does it work fine?
2. Does anyone have more than 7?
3. Is anyone with multiple savers blocked from withdrawals/transfers, and what is the pattern?
4. Does anyone have any more success stories from resolving any of this?
Yes, and yes:)0 -

Yes, I closed the account, opened a new one a month later and made sure I set the right dates on my two DDs (one weekly, one monthly) so that I didn't need to edit them! lol. Then I discovered Birmingham Midshires, which is kinda clunky, but more reliable. I kept the PO account tho just cos it satisfies my Co-op account with 5 DDs per month. It's not worth the aggravation to change it now.0 -
can I have 2 DDs (weekly and monthly) linked with same current account? This is for Barclays 2 DDs requirement, as I understand Barclays just need 2 active DDs going out every month for BR and not 2 active different DDs. Would appreciate your response.0
