cornishchick said:re prepping for the storm, well the last big one that passed through knocked down a few things in my garden, and I left them down lol, cos I didn't have the energy to put them back up.. so low energy for the win.I've done the same myself cornish chick. I'm a great believer in choosing my battles and often knocking ourselves out means we'll need to do the putting things in order a few times until the weather settles. Better to save any energy until we can do it at our pace under better conditions. Unless it's a loose fence panel or something that would impact others I leave it be.Fingers crossed things wont be too bad.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Sorry Polly to freak you oot.I've been out all day and had a horrible feeling that sweet , innocent old lady would appear as Ming Vase , Madarthur or someone else entirely. After the factory reset was your recovered password stored on the laptop? If so it should be available. Ditto your username. I'm beginning to think you like wandering around with a priceless vase on your head. Perhaps such vases attract Heffalumps. It would help if you could explain exactly what happens each time you end up with a different user name . Youngest is a bit stumped trying to work it out.I changed my password earlier and thankfully the Mackintosh Rose transferred . Just about to have a quick explore. I love the look of things but need to investigate. Can't just click on the last post and a few other things seem different. I'll need to look around and seewhat others are saying.pollyxx

Can I come and play with you all? I can help you out with GF subs (been GF for about 6/7 years now) and I've got Fibro too.
I have recently been diagnosed with bloody Parkinson's too, and am currently waiting meds. Why does it take so flipping long to get anything sorted? It's been 18 months since I started thinking UhOh this isn't fibro? But its been six long months now since the GP said Parkinsons, sending you to hosp...for the apt to come through, wait for scans, wait for apts... Sooo frustrating!!!
I'm struggling with work (self employed) and making enquiries about PIP but honestly not sure I am up to sorting it at the moment6 -

I'm struggling with work (self employed) and making enquiries about PIP but honestly not sure I am up to sorting it at the momentWelcome Katieowl I'm not sure if it was the tougher threads but I remember you. We've had a longterm poster since the original thread whose husband has Parkinson's . She has Lupus among other conditions herself. She hasn't posted here for a while this thread tends to go quieter in winter but I'm hoping she'll be back. Understand your frustration at the wait for the appts ,scans, etc.The system is overwhelmed. Hope your meds are sorted soon. The positive with self employment is it can give a bit of leeway to attend appts etc. However the bills still need paying. Meanwhile a number of posters have claimed PIP and or ESA.I've helped my dd through both DLA to PIP and more recently PIP reassment also ESA support group twice. Understanding the process and criteria helps . You can read or print off a copy of the form to give you an idea of things and I will be happy to answer any questions you have. I'm hoping as other friends come out of hibernation we may see Wolfy the poster I mentioned earlier..Something useful is to ask at all hospital, clinic and other appts to be copied into feedback letters to your GP. Our GP advised this years ago and it provides a handy paper trail for appts saving trying to explain the history yet again. It also proved invaluable with both PIP and ESA.Sorry for the long post.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
