chunkytfg...I've no idea how much they are, but you could always PM rancid-a (on previous page) and ask her how much. Good luck and good saving!

Chunkytfg They were £3 each (pretty expensive I know) Could you hang on till after Chrismas, ALWAYS half price then. One good thing about the tins is that you can't dip in - Open the top with a can opener and that's it, over!

Hey Rancid,

last time i went i bought 2 - but one was opened in an emergency and now im reluctant to open the other - although i might see if i can get another one on sat and then start the challenge properly again for next year.

I went and bought 2 tins from the pound shop on Saturday ready to join you all with the new challenge. I had 4 £2 coins in my purse and I couldn't resist putting them in my tin. So, I've started a week early.. sorry if that's cheating

Good luck everyone :TGrocery Challenge - May £20/ £802009 Sealed Pot Challenge #305 - £216 /£3000 -
Can I join in ? Already do this with unsealed pots and save 10,5,2,1p's but find myself dipping into them when money is tight in bank/purse. I went to local Poundland shop but couldn't find any tins argh, I'd prefer a completely sealed one so Im not tempted at all.0

Count me in for the new challenge. I *think* I might have initially signed up at beginning of this year and forgot about it
but anyway I opened my pot last week and had £50 quid in there which saved me from a sticky overdraft limit situation.
So yes please to being in the new challenge, unless I was on the old challenge as well - and if I was oopsie for opening it early but yay that it was there!
Editted to say - yes I was - my aim was £200 so I was a little bit short on that one!Comps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

I made my own sealed pot last year with a coffee jar by supergluing the lid on and cutting a slot in the lid (although I got one of the guys at work to cut the slot because I couldnt work out how to

Hello ladies and gents... I think I may have to join you for next year.
I have a tin I bought from the seaside the other week and while I don't tend to use much cash, I do want to start leaving my debit card at home and just have a budgeted cash amount in my purse... so I should start getting some change.
I guess I will see you on the brand new sparkly thread when you're all flush after this year's opening
