Hello, cant remember the last time I posted,
I have three pots, one for 50p 20p and 10p 's, one for 1/2 pound and one for coppers.
I am only emptying the pound one and the coppers one. The other one is a can you have to open and I want to wait till its full up! (which it isn't!!)
am looking forward to the grand count up!
and I will be doing it again year!

Hiya everyone can i join in the next seal pot challenge please. I already have a tin (somewhere:rolleyes: ). I tried earlier in the year but ended up having to open my tin and use contents for bills. I'll probably have 2 tins if thats ok. One that i'll empty at the end of each month to pay extra towards my debts (50p and 20ps) and one to keep till xmas (everything else), that way i'm hoping i wont get tempted to have a sneaky peak. Hoping to have £300 saved for xmas next year.£387.39/£196.46
Pay my debt by End of Feb 2022
49.28% paid!
£199.55/£500 savings by End of April 2022
39.91% saved!

Hi everyone
I havent posted for weeks but I have been saving in my tin - I only started in july so I dont know if I have a number - I am def in for next year too - this is justsuch a great idea and so easy! I dont expect to have a lot in my tin but its a bonus whatever it is and its going towards a debt.
I have read back 2 or 3 pages and noticed the question regarding bags of coin - the Royal Bank and LLoyds TSB only take 5 bags at a time - if I ever have more I just go back in the queue again!!!
I will be away until the 1st so will be rushing back to join in the emptying that night!!! I dont think I have ever been so excited before about emptying a money bank!!!!
Ther have been some fantastic total so far - congrats to you all and good luck for the 1st!!!Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last

Hi Sue,
I can't remember what was decided about keeping our old numbers for next year. Do we come on to the new thread and say we want our old numbers? Or do we say now that we want to keep our old numbers? Or do we just get allocated a new number on the new thread? I've confused myself now!!:D
Oops x

I'd like to join this officially this year to give me a bit more incentive. I've already bought 2 sealed tins from Bhs. They have plenty of design varieties like Car saving Club, Football Fund that kind of thing If you'd like one like that. I went for the Millionaires Club
I'll try to use them like I did last year..come wage day, I'll lift my money via the assistant and ask for a bag of £2 coins & a bag of 50ps. When I get home, without counting, quickly put some of them into each tin. Use what's left as change. repeat the following week

Hi - I failed in this challenge some months ago, sorry! Had an emergency and had to open tin - had just over £300 in October (sooooo close!), so I'd like to try again for the next challenge.
I do still check in here every now and again to see what's going on.
Hope it's ok to join in again for next Christmas - promise I won't open it this time!

I will definitely be up for this again next time. I'm so glad I bought sealed tins from the Pound shop as it stopped me taking out for car parking. Not sure if I've hit my target but it will have been worth it anyway.Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0

But look how well you've done on your other challenges. Have you really lived on less than £800 this year?
I've started next year's challenge already. Bring it on! I'm hoping to do even better in 2009. :A
I haven't spent any cash this weekend though, so no pennies in the pottie I'm afraid.:rolleyes:Save me from spending...
