As far as I know we are nyk, if it's any diffferent I guess mumzy will say - if she's taken over doing the thread again. No doubt she'll soon let us know. My pot's still in tact, though getting excited now I must admit.

'make £1000 in 100 days' How the heck d'you manage that or where is it to be found?

The wicked one hundred day challenge is here and we'll be starting a new one in January. :D It's a tough one, but I don't think it's as tough as having to make an extra £10 every single day of the week.

Thanks for the link Nyk. I do surveys already, clicks too, but what the heck, why not look at other ways of getting more.

    Thanks again.

I need to get a new sealed tin but can't find one yet!

Hi LMM. Have a look in Wilkinsons as they have some glass storage jars with plastic lids. Hubs bought me one today and was about £3.

He's already cut a slit in the top for me to pop the cash in and it'll beat my drinking chocolate tub and certainly beats paying out for terramundi jars and needing to smash them. All I need to do now is seal it up and it's ready for next year!!! :D

Good luck with getting something perfect for you!

Great thread, I have been saving my 2ps and 1ps, 5ps, 10ps and £2 coins in tin money boxes I bought from Poundland. It's not big enough for a years coins though, I wait until they are full and then open them and pay the money off my credit cards.

I went to the Discount shop at the end of my road earlier to see if they had something similar and saw a massive one with a £50 note design and it was £3.99.

Hi TMD and good for you with what you do with your savings, it's a great way to make money that would otherwise have filtered away on something. I find it also makes me think twice about whether we buy things or not.

So...... did you get that £50 shaped bottle/jar or whatever it was???? I think I'd have been sorely tempted at that price!!! Are you joining us on here with a jar/pot for next Christmas too?!

Good luck sparky, I hope you find one, or just what you're looking for if not. Next year will be the first complete one for me too, and yes, it'll be good to start from the beginning. Well done with that first medal, helps you look prettier too!! ;)

4p today, but hoping for better tomorrow.
