Just popping in to say hello to everyone. Phil is filling but I'm starting to get impatient about opening him. Time is marching on and it's hard to believe it's almost a year since preparing for this challenge. It must only be about 8 weeks until the official opening? Am I right :D

  • I'm ok Mumzy. Good to have you back sweetheart. Mrs S was ill for a while, but things are ok now.
Sue - I gave my push bike up once it hit the end of September. Ice/rain/hail + pushbike + 6 and a half foot Stunty = disaster waiting to happen! I both pity and admire Sparky!

Hi Stunty, hope the OH is feeling better.
The 4k challenge is coming along lovely and is now being helped by the 'make £1000 in 100 days' throughout the final 100 days of 2008. Phil the Pig is doing extremely well, gaining a little weight each week - I can't wait until 1st December to find out exactly how much is in there! Then, of course, I'll start all over again with Penny the penguin for next year.

Hope everyone is doing well and that not too many of the sealed pots have become 'unsealed'. Just curious about the newcomers - are you all doing the official opening on 1st December as well?

Don't blame you at all Stunty, the more sensible option. I can undersatnd what you mean about Sparky, but I'd sooner be safe - and hope stays that way! It was good to see him (not literally!) cycling on the pavements - why not if there's no one on them ....or does he leave a trail of pedestrians like ten pins perhaps!!!! :D

As far as I know we are nyk, if it's any diffferent I guess mumzy will say - if she's taken over doing the thread again. No doubt she'll soon let us know. My pot's still in tact, though getting excited now I must admit.

'make £1000 in 100 days' How the heck d'you manage that or where is it to be found?
