    Hi,

Sorry I've not posted here in absolutly ages but I am still doing the challence.

My Terramundi is getting really full (I think that it is up to the coin slot).

Really cant wait to open it up and go on a 1/2 pay debts and 1/2 shopping spree - only 6 (ish) weeks to go.

    Take Care

So...... did you get that £50 shaped bottle/jar or whatever it was???? I think I'd have been sorely tempted at that price!!! Are you joining us on here with a jar/pot for next Christmas too?!

    Hi

No I didn't buy it but will get one, would like to do the next challenge but not sure if I could wait a year to open it, I'm so impatient. Can't wait to see how much everyone has saved over the year.

  • Hi all
I've been lurking on this thread for ages and back in June I bought myself a sealed tin for £3.50 on an online site its a really large tin says millionaires fund on the front lol I'd love to join in next year if thats ok? Have already bought an even bigger tin from poundland couple of weeks ago that cost me £1!!! I will be opening my tin before the 1st of December as it's DS2's 21st birthday then and I'm using that to buy him something special - haven't a clue what yet tho as he's not being very helpful when I ask what he'd like!!! Any suggestions welcome
    Thanks

    Hi everyone.

Big thanks for this thread, I'd like to join in please! :)

I'm going to make my own 'sealed pot' today and will start adding into it. I'll open when you guys do so hopefully there'll be a few pennies toward paying off some debts/xmas prezzies :)

It's just under 8 weeks and the pooh household is getting very excited, our 'hippo' is so heavy it can't be lifted easily (hippo is my biscuit jar).

We keep guessing how much is in there, no idea really - how exciting :j

We are all going to guess the amount and the nearest will get a massive bar of chocolate I was given by work!

I'm definitely up for this next year as I started a couple of months into this year, so it's not a full year challenge.
Next year the children want to do one too, they already have a little 'piggy' they can each use. Of course they'll only be adding a few bits here and there but I love their enthusiasm.:T

I can't wait for the grand opening. I have been saving in empty coke tins, I just widen the opening a little and it is great. I have 2 full tins and third should be filled by 1.12.2008, no idea how much is in them. Will be starting again on 2.12.2008, definitely a great way to save.
