Hi folks - thought i might make something else out of papier mache in the New Year - maybe a frog. Have to think on that one. Anyway early new year greetings as I'm not around now until the 2nd January as we are going to the Lake District Area for a few days. :j :j :j

    So HAPPY SAVING NEW YEAR
  • Happy new year to you too Surfbabe, hope you enjoy the Lake District  see you when you get back :)
  • Well today me and kids started making the paper mache animals. Thought I would try and involve (encourage) the kids in this particular challenge. Have also decided to make one each for relatives for their xmas box next year.

  • I don't know about the papier mache animal bit of the challenge, I might get around to it [I suspect not *blush* ] but I'm up for the sealed pot challenge. I already save up the pennies etc that fall out into the washing machine, but it'll be interesting to see how much I have for the January Sales in December '08! I'd already started one box and haven't taken anything out yet, so shall use that [must get a lid for it!]

Thanks for this challenge, it'll help no end with the others I'm already doing.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year throughout 2008 to us all

  • Can i join this challenge please? I have been saving in my pot for the past couple of weeks, so that was probably about 1st December anyway. I will aim for £250.00 - anything extra is a bonus. Mine is going towards Christmas 2008 - I am doing a challenge for that too.
