At first read I imagined you going to the stationers for 10 boxes of paper fasteners...

    Hi Ally,
To be honest my English is not the best there ever was. :o:o
My English teacher, in an other country, was a drunk, who only showed up for 2 out of 3 lessons and I think grammar must have been on the third day.

Why does teenagers never leave the house - they just sit in their room and wait for a grown up to open the fridge and be creative! Anyways DS have gone out to meet his dad so I've got the house to myself for a bit. What a bliss.

Anyways Christmas travels are off, a bit sad, but I'm not borrowing any more money from family, I eill be able to get tickets for half the price in the May half term holiday. Decisions made - tick:T:T

    Afternoon all :)
It has been pouring with rain all day but seems to have stopped now!
Went to an (indoor) boot fair this morning and bought bargainous posh brand dishwasher tablets :)
Tried, unsuccessfully, to walk the dog in the rain. I walked, he didn't (ended up carrying him) so a wet walk to no purpose.

Did freezer inventory, got out a couple of different curries and some HM flatbreads. Made a lentil dhal and yogurt and cucumber raita, and cooked some rice to go with them. Put several different chutneys in one of those multi compartment dishes, and had an Indian style meal for Sunday late lunch, turkey curry, lentil dhal, courgette curry, rice, flatbreads, raita and chutneys. All home made apart from lime pickle which is one of my absolute weaknesses. Yum :D
Brother brought round some things he had got from his staff shop (he works for a food company that does meat products and can buy stuff from the shop for pennies). Will share with DD though as we don't want to eat that stuff all the time!
Got the stove alight as it has been so wet and cold. No other heating on yet though!

    Hi All,
Great start to the week, freezer is full, lots of potential dinners and lunches, NSD day today and should not need to spend any money till next Saturday with a bit of luck, except swimming Tuesday which is £6 for 2 weeks.
Am planning to do lots of sports volunteering in November and December - that will keep me busy and out shops way. Will try to get C*** gifts on Oct 22 in Uni town as want to get them early and get them sent off cheaply this year. Planning is everything.
    See you next week.
