''If you try to claim that property has always gone up without any corrections along the way then you are by definition a perma prop bull
Do you really try to claim that property has always gone up with no corrections along the wy''
Of course there are corrections along the way.
But pick any 2 years that are 10 years apart, look at house prices for those years and you'll think 'wow...houses were cheap 10 years ago'
Because although there are corrections there are also booms.
Over time, its a no brainer.
anyone could see it.
But HPC can't / don't want to / won't accept it, etc.0 -

Oh for goodness sake, can someone else give it a go with him and the rest of the sockies.
Nobody on here has suggested or even believes that house prices cannot or have indeed fallen in the past, and not one person on here does not believe it cannot happen again, how much clearer do you want posters on here to be?0 -
Does anyone get the feeling that the crash posters are one person under different usernames? They seems to be getting desperate.0

They even sock puppet their own website, I am now watching/laughing my head off at a thread where they now claim to be witnessing and buying properties, the posts are from very recent new members where they claim they are seeing "£10,000's shaved of the asking prices"
Back in the real world that is not even close to the truth, at worst some sellers are sitting tight, and I am going to let the thread grow a little and then join in myself with a little mischief.. dear old Bruce actually really likes me, so easy to take the **** out of his without him knowing

I've just sold two flats in the last couple of months or so (one still subject to contract), I got £30k more than I hoped for (sold for £530k) for one of them and £12.5k less for the other (sold for £437.5k), so overall I'm quite happy. One was under offer the first day that it went on the market, and the other about a month afterwards.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
Houses like mine, that I completed on 6 1/2 months ago, are now selling at about 5% higher since then. The amount I have saved in the difference between mortgage interest and rent is another 2% of the property value. Can't wait for the crash, any day now!0

Corbyn has launched an assault on the property market including banning Right to Rent checks, greater tenant rights and a huge council building programme. The thing about chaos is, it's fair.0

I am intrigued to find out how Corbyn plans to get these hundreds of thousands of extra homes built each year.
Local planning authorities, highways authorities and water authorities are struggling to cope with their workloads now without the extra burden of these additional estates.
Until more funding is given to the authorities to enable them to get more staff to approve these schemes then any ideas of building thousands more homes a year are just pie in the sky.0
