I sent you a PM Terry.

And my cooker was written off my appliance company offered cash settlement.

And winnings paid out I withdraw to nationwide bank. It’s instant, compared to other banks that take a few days

Presumably you mean your insurance company, not your appliance company?

By what means do the withdrawals get to your nationwide account?

    Bank transfer or card withdrawal.

What sort of percentage split between the two types of withdrawal - and do both types come 'instantly' with Nationwide?

More card than transfer. Only a few bookmakers offer the instant withdrawal so it’s mostly card withdrawal

    Picture posted above thanks Ed
  • Card transfers would not normally be instant and a card transaction carries no name information, so that is not the issue. Bank transfers might include a name and that might trigger alarms if it is constantly changing.

That could easily be what Nationwide is trying to get to the bottom of. Shame you are too anxious to call them. Your actions in using multiple names for betting accounts is unlikely to be any sort of crime but it may be contrary to the T&Cs of the betting sites.

If that's what Nationwide is investigating you could quite easily tell them you use multiple names for betting to take advantage of offers. Whether that will satisfy them that you are not money laundering through betting sites, I do not know, but if it is the truth, why should you have anything to fear?

Stick to card withdrawals in future.

What method do you use to place your bets? Is that also from the Nationwide account that you said you didn't use?

Yes, sorry when I said didn’t use I mean my daily spend and wages are into N26. Not nationwide
  • And what method do you use to place your bets? (as already asked)
