Delurking (have just read all through!) to say good luck. Also good on sorting the overdraft as the banks are having to change the way they charge in April & larger O/Ds are going to get more expensive.

Re: the swimiing & parents not allowed to watch! Well I could understand them saying no mobiles allowed in. In the days of people videoing people without their knowledge it sounds like a good idea. But not allowing a parent to monitor what is happening with their own child! Especially with some of the things that have been said about coaches in the past! I would have to say no way.

Actually it is laughable, as they are prepared to allow men (with all their equipment) into female changing rooms just because they say they identify as women but won't allow a child's parents watch them swim. The whole world has run mad & I used to think it was me that had a distorted view of the world!

  • I just heard from the agency with regard to feedback from the interview.

I have been offered the job :)

Company procedure means that there's paperwork to be signed off first.

They know what my present hourly rate is and are happy with that. I will 'change' Umbrella companies in order to be paid for three months but after that they have said they will take me on permanent. The Temp side of things, is classed as my probabtionary period.

The downside of this is that I doubt I will see the end of this project, which will be a shame as I have been here from the start :(
