It certainly is after yesterday's carp!0 -
Okay, so I have been looking at my spreadsheet and it looks healthy now
Total outstanding debt - £12,526.00
This takes in to account the slight increase due to the transfer fee.
Now on to next years plan.
I am going to just leave the Barclaycard ticking over, as it is such a low-ish amount.
The plan of attack is to reduce the Lloyds, currently by the time the deal runs out we 'should' owe £4100, ideally I would like this to be nearer £2K left then balance transfer that over to another 0%.
By then if all goes to plan, we will be down to £4K in total left owing.
As per this year, I will build the pots up and once there is sufficient amount in the CC overpayment pot, this will go off the Lloyds.
Now moving on to the end of this year. November I will make normal payments but December, I will just pay over the minimum as December is always difficult for us so I will only halve what I pay at the moment.0 -
Morning,
Checked the BC and the transfer has gone through. I checked MBNA and the balance is still showing? I'm hoping that it will change by tomorrow at least or DH will have to ring them.0 -
Panic over, DH has just emailed me over confirmation from both CC's....Phew!!!0

So I have been looking at the figures (again!) to get my head right.
Looking at my spreadsheet by January we should be down to £11,950 once November and December payments have been done.
It isn't quite where I was hoping we would be down to but it is still better than we were.
My target for next year is to clear £8000 minimum, it will be a long hard slog and there are two big birthday's next year. My mum's 70th and DS's 16th.
My mind is rambling at the moment as I want to get things in place so I know where we are once January hits.0 -

Progress is still being made pmo2.
Great day for your hubby today . No more fishing and no more construction. Or was it destruction ?
Have a good day ...0 -
Thanks AC
Yes hubby has now officially left the disorganised and chaotic company that caused him (and us) so much stress. I officially have a house husband for the rest of the day...well when he gets back from London that is.
New job starts on Monday and new beginnings for him :j:beer::T0
