  • i remembered really feeling for this guy when the thread started. i used to work in a prison and its no joke in there. especially if you are not a repeat offender who is used to the system, or a drug user, of course i feel sorry for the victim too. however this guy has done well to get through this and keep his head held, he done the crime, he bit his lip and he got on with the sentence. prison is something that will stay on his record (and in his head) forever and he has done well to be starting a new job todya, albeit it one that is maybe a little less grand than the one he had before. i am also sorry his relationship fell by the way a bit, its hard on both parties dealing with prison and a year is a long time, it can take a while to get back into the swing of it , don't worry jamie if you want to fix it up you will, it takes a strong man to get through jail and come out the other side. whilst you can take all the help they chuck at you!

I start a new job tomorrow so that's something to keep my mind on and some money. It's not a real job though it's one of those for ex-offenders which !!!!es me off as I want to forget about that but hard to get a job on my own when I've been locked up last year.

Any job is better than no job, and it'll do your self esteem some good to get back into "normal" life, rather than doing nothing!

Fingers crossed it leads to something else, and you end up in a great job!

Good luck with getting the girl back too, and don't forget to keep us posted!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
