ok - thanks for all the replies - i think i was a bit hasty and might have made a mistake

I saw an offer on OSPS
    http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/ourdeals.php?PROV=O2&OFF=OK750I&TAR=O2250
    and I went for it.
Its the O2 250 mins and 50 txts a month option and the offer has 12 months 1/2 price line rental. Now, I'm wondering whether the phones4u deal is better. It works out the same if I stick with the same tariff for 12 months, but what if I want to downgrade after 6 months? What happens with the OSPS deal? What cashback would I receive?
Also am I able to cancel my order - i ordered saturday night about 11pm.

Any help for this idiot much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Adam

    Adam,

You can downgrade your contract after 6 months (if its a 12 month contract) and this won't effect the cashback. You should be able to cancel the order, if it still hasn't gone through give them a call in the morning.

Just remember that claiming cashback from OSPS might not be easy - and might involve calling them up quite a lot to make sure they do their part.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks to all the replies. I got one more question. I've gone for the 12month 1/2 price line rental offer on the £35.99 per month. So I get £18 per month cashback. Now if I go to a lower tariff after 6 months how much cashback do I get? Is it still £18 per month? or is it half of the new tariff price?

Oh yeah I rang today to cancel and I was told my customer services that it was all ready to be dispatched and apparently they can't cancel it - I would have to refuse delivery to get it cancelled or some BS like that.

What are my options once they send it? How do I go about cancelling it?

I want the deal from phone4u, can I order a phone from phones4u on the same o2 contract now or do I have to wait for the OSPS contract to be cancelled?

    Cheers

    Adam

They email you a form 'within 28 days' but I had to email to request mine, guess they hoped I'd forget altogether if they didn't send the form!

    Thanks Darren.

Should make a note in my diary to e-mail them in 4 weeks if they do not send the form.
