Yep, and given BOTH have been signed unde r astatement of truth, absolutely hammer home that
- when they make a statement contradicted by their OWN EVIDENCE, how can their statements be trusted?
- when two different "witnesses", who of course were nothing of the sort yet have written a witness statement, contradict each other - how to believe? How can their evidence be considered reliable by the court?

hammer them. Hard. Make their rep cry in court.

So my court hearing was meant to be at 11am tomorrow morning and the court have just rung me saying the judge isn’t available so it’ll have to rescheduled. Absolute shambles to get told less than 24 hours in advance and I’m already taking the day off for this.

Are you 100% certain it was the court ????  best for you to ring the court to confirm

And send the Claimant a new Summary Costs Assessment including the costs of the first day off work for tomorrow - send that now and tell them the costs are increasing and you wish to show them your updated Summary Costs Schedule in the interests of open dealing because you will be claiming your full costs when you prevail, or if VCS discontinue (sign it and date it like has been seen in other threads, such as Littlewadie's one).

That was my first thought as well but I've Googled the number and it is the county court.

Court case has been rearranged for Tuesday morning next week, I went for the earliest possible date to cause maximum inconvenience for VCS.

Currently sat in the county court, VCS rep is running late as ‘stuck in traffic’ so likely to be at least 30 mins late. Because they rang 5 mins before the start of the hearing I’ve now got to sit here and wait.
