Some people just don't know how to have a conversation - makes me glad I'm not single, even if DH is currently annoying me! :D

I think my problem is that I quite like being single!

Hope he's annoying you with more than one word answers!

Just caught up, with your diary KP, you do get some bargains! I went in a local charity shop for the first time in ages last week and it was so expensive, I could have bought a lot of it new for less, such a shame.

I love going into charity shops. This week I got more hotter shoes £4.50, a m&s thermal top for £3.75, a Laura Ashley top for £3.25, a never played card game for £0.99 and a teddy bear jumper (John Lewis) for £5.50. The key is persistence and choosing where you shop. My more expensive items usually come from a err more expensive place with fancy smancy people living there. The cheaper come from a more middle class area, I'm a big fan of the old style charity shops where you have to poke and prod.

Some places really do have insane prices and you have to be wary. Yesterday I found some Armani shirt for £70, who goes into a charity shop to pay that much on a shirt? Plus there was a puzzle with its original price of £18 ish. Their asking price? £16!

    That’s some very strange pricing! I wouldn’t pay £70 for a new shirt 😱

I try not to spend much on clothes either. Like sometimes it just doesn't suit or it's only suitable for a specific thing.

This week has been punishing. Been to hospital for a family member and said family member had a delayed operation so very emotionally charged as well as very early mornings. I shall say no more because I complain too much as it is!

Got my sister in law a Jaeger bag for Christmas, now I'm looking for something nice (a pocket watch maybe) for my brother. Got myself a heater to replace the one that I stole from mum about 2 years ago. Also got 5 big green mugs to replace my small grey ones that annoy me for £4, a pretty magazine holder for £2.50 which I will use for my post that I ignore, a cardigan for £3 and a necklace for a whopping £20. It's so pretty.

Work is as ever stressful, I think in the last 6 months we have had a quarter of the work force resign.

Started binge watching old series of the apprentice. Possibly the most joyful thing ever. Starting series 10 and there's the sexist woman and it is hilarious.

Today is a sad day, it's the anniversary of my dad going into a coma, where he later died nearly a year after. I have been asleep for most of today and I think it's a good use of the day!

Been spending a silly amount on food recently, I must do better!

Saw my friend's baby again and she's walking annnnnnd shouting (no indoor voice yet).

Just caught up on your diary. Sorry it's the anniversary for your dad's coma. It sounds like you've been through some tough times but hopefully are coming through the other side.
