I never understand how they come up with those odd numbers, £10(3).
I hope you are feeling better soon. Having to deals with fraud must be annoying, and to return it? unbelievable really, the minds of thieves.
I always round down to the nearest 00 on my mortgage, as many on here do, even it i can't afford a big chunky OP.Mortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20224 -
Thank you for your well wishes. I'm feeling shakey but not throwing up anymore.
Have no idea why they would return something they were stealing anyway!
I'm not sure how much I want to overpay at the moment, with a second lockdown I don't know if I'm going to end up on part time hours again. I think they would be crazy to put us down as it is the busy period. but they might.
I'm also starting my christmas shopping, I want to treat my mum especially because it's been such aa traumatic year and she's been so kind to me. Any suggestions welcomed!4 -
Well I have no actual suggestions, but as a mum I am far happier if my DS buys me something that he knows I like rather than something that some people think is special. To explain, I am more grateful for one of my favorite jigsaws (under £15) than I am for what someone else may really like for £50. To me it really is the thought that counts. Of course it could also be paying for a treat that she has wondered about but never got round to trying, such as a pedicure. I do hope you come up with something special for her.As for the fraud. Are you sure it was fraud? I would be wondering if someone has done a typo. Or maybe done the fraud as a first time & had second thoughts. From what I have read they would get the order & then resell, definitely not return.4

I bought DD2 a bunch of £1.99 roses from lidl for her birthday... they were amazing lasted more than 2 weeks. She kindly kept them on our kitchen breakfast bar.Mortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20222

Glad glad you are feeling a bit better now KP, agree with bad memory regarding presents though - my fav Xmas present last year was from ds2 who bought a saucy calendar of almost naked firemen and cut out all their faces and replaced with mads mikklesen who I love 😆MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁2

None of you have been helpful for my mum's present at all!
Usually we go out at weekends or holiday and mum sees some art glass or pottery that I then sneak back and buy it for her. This year we haven't been able to do that and buying glass for her without knowing if she really likes that just fills me with dread, art is so personal and so easy to get wrong. I buy her flowers every few weeks and have tried to ever since my dad died and I had a job so I feel that it wouldn't be a very christmasy gift for her.

Could you just explain all of that and kind of give her an IOU? If she understands that you're worried about getting her something she wouldn't like and you're not weaseling out of it I'm sure she'd understand?Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I think an IOU is a lovely idea for your mum, perhaps a note to say you know she enjoys doing x, y and z, when things are better you will have a great day doing those things?
How lovely of you to buy her weekly flowers.....perhaps a new vase to out them in?
Glad to hear you are feeling better.
