  • Ok another great present this year has been semi permanent make up. It was £280 (on a deal ) for eye liner to be applied to last 2 years (OH DD1 &DD2 )... amazing until DD1 said "your so brave getting your eye lids tattooed!" However I slap on foundation and lippy and don't have to worry about smudgy eyes anymore. I'm not a high maintenance person. Hence getting fed up and wanting to look smarter with minimal effort. I have just bought myself a dyson hairdryer (for the diffuser).. sheepskin slippers, a snuggly winter coat, sheepskin lined boots.... All very much needs :astonished:  :joy: I am currently discovering the joy of a candle... years old ones are finally getting used.

  • Thanks all for the suggestions, I have purchased some gifts for mum. Now I just need to complete everyone else! I won't go into too much detail in case she reads this and finds out what she has, but I did get a vase for her. Although I'm a bit worried that it's too small.

MFD, you had tattoos on your EYES!? That is terrifying! What was it like? It's nice to be able to save time in the morning, I basically roll out of end and reach for clothes, any clothes. Once I got to 3pm before I realised my jumper was the wrong way around. On. A. Work. Day.

Been back to being sick and sleeping all the time. Last night I went to sleep at 8pm and had 12 hours sleep. Doctor is pleasantly unconcerned about some of my symptoms and very understanding that I find it hard to distinguish between fibro pain and this pain. I'm in a lot more pain than usual. I might be accidentally missing out symptoms from the doctor which must be frustrating on their part. Work, however, has been decidedly uncompromising with my sickness and now I am in trouble with the higherups.. I need to account for every 5 minutes of my day and apparently "vomiting" is not an appropriate work activity. Whoops!

Money wise, have not done much. Investments are up (yay), cash balance is up (yay), credit cards are down (yay), didn't win that 100k competition (boo) and getting some christmas shopping done (yay).
  • A bit buzzy x2 90 minute sessions as my eyes kept watering. She did put anaesthetic cream on, but it was more uncomfortable when wearing off...
Hope you are feeling better soon. Great going financially :)

Ouch, sorry you've been ill. I hope you've been in touch with your GP about it (I am being an evangelist for paying more attention to health since I got my magic tablets 😀)

I have been enjoying the festive foods a little too much as well, so am now in the "They must go before the new year starts" binge! Looking forward to hearing your aims for 2021 x

Ahaha, I'm surprised I've not received a christmas card from them, I've been so much. How are you getting on with your magic tablets?

I hope you are enjoying your binge!

I am 👍! A couple more weeks of the tablets, then I'm due to see the specialist and think I'll probably come off them. They have to be taken with food though, so I just had to eat cheese in the evening on Christmas Day!

Glad you're being proactive with the Doc 😀
