    Lots of advice from experts on how to pursue OPS for costs.   But, in my arrogance, I think you're all wrong :-)
    I'm happy to send them a Letter Before Claim at the right time, but in my humble opinion there's a step missing - I need to write to them first and ask them to pay my expenses without it being a Letter Before Claim.  It will not look good in presenting to the Court my case if it is shown that I didn't make the slightest attempt to resolve the matter amicably and just dived straight in with a Letter Before Claim.
    So that's what I'm going to do: send a polite letter first, based upon a claim template Coupon_Mad kindly supplied.   I'll let you all know how it goes ... though I think we can all guess!
