You could sterilise it and post to remove any personal references or sensitive information, however: -valiant24 said:Dear Le_Kirk. I'm reluctant to post the whole lease. I can quote the relevant sections if you wish? Or PM the whole thing of course.
1. You would have to supply it to the court (in your evidence) eventually and the claimant would see it then (if that is what worries you,
2. I see you have had an offer from @Coupon-mad and @ParkingMad off forum so why not send it by PM to one of them.4 -
Yes of course.Coupon-mad said:Myself and ParkingMad are having a look at the case off forum and can share with bargepole if the OP agrees?3 -
1. No that's not the concern, it's just that the case is easily identifiable to the PPC, if they have the brains to frequent this forum (and I would if I were they!) so not too keen on discussing its weaknesses publicly. This leads me onto Q3 btw.Le_Kirk said:

2. I have emailed it to them both now per your suggestion
3. Should I be waiting for the PPC's witness statement before sending my own, to see their thinking and their ripostes to my Defence? Or is that not how it works?
Thanks

The claimant will see your evidence just before the hearing anyway, as you will see theirs. You can wait as long as you dare for their WS but do not miss your deadline.3
-
You will have been given a date by the court to submit your WS to all parties, so do not miss it. This is now a game of chicken, or to see who blinks first. If you can send it by email do it either on the last day or the day before. If the scammers send their WS before you send yours, immediately post it here and try to rip it apart yourself as well.
This forum sometimes operates a nightshift.
Include any points/rebuttals where possible in your own WS, but do not miss YOUR submission deadline.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

In summary, this relates to a case where I parked in a block of flats where my granddaughter lived, parking "managed" by OPS. The case dates from July 2017 and the current iteration is the third Letter of Claim issued.
Today I received from a Paralegal at DCB Legal a copy of their Notice of Discontinuation.
My primary defence was that my granddaughter had a right under her lease to park a car which took primacy over any contract between the Landlord and OPS, given that the Landlord had not varied my granddaughter's Lease in respect of the right to park one car (and probably lacked the power to do so unilaterally anyway).
Secondary defences were:
- abuse of process (excess charges added)
- signs inadequate
The Notice of Discontinuance does not specify a reason, but I have to assume that it is on the strength of the excellent Defence I submitted, with a great deal of help provided by Coupon-Mad, Parking-Mad and other experts on this forum, for which I offer all my thanks!

Good news for you and well done to those who helped.
DCBL chickened out, no doubt the first of many, if not, it's off to court for a spanking, they know that with their fake add-on claims. DCBL, OPS and the courts are not a suitable combination3 -
Well done on your win.
You should get something from the court to confirm this soon, but you can always check the status on MCOL in a few days time.
Please come back to this forum in two to three weeks time so you can comment on the new mandatory CoP when it should be available for public consultation.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
