Yes but then you are acknowledging the ticket and giving them a body to deal with. They usually send 3 letters and give up if you ignore them.

Really ? which part of what I said is untrue ? What amuses you facts ? Tell me one single point I made which is untrue.
For every million tickets issue they take one to court. There were only 320,000 summons issued for ALL DEBT not just parking tickets in the entire UK for the first quarter of this year.

I took on a bully boy PPC through the Courts yesterday and won easily thanks to the help, guidance and support of this forum. I ignored every threatening letter from the PPC, responded ONLY to the Court throughout the process and was utterly vindicated by the Judge giving the PPC one mother of a bloody nose.

Frankly, it's YOUR advice that should be considered drivel.

How many people dhave Parking Eye taken to court? It's over 40k by one company alone. VCS and Excel also rarely let a ticket go.

Some of them are very litigatious which makes your statement a bit daft.

Wow, that's impressive. Thanks for those stats. Yes, there are more important things in life than fighting PPCs. But I wouldn't mind betting that someone who helps so many people they don't even know to such a great extent is actually a very capable individual in all areas of their life. It often goes that way. Very clever too ... I hear that most posts take them rather less than 5 minutes.

By contrast, some people do hard sums in the middle of the night for absolutely no reason other than sabotage ....
