PCN Help required

Received a PCN for an overstay from Premier Park Ltd for a massive £90!
The driver didn't recall seeing any signs as they pulled into a space very close to the gate & exited without seeing any signs.
Obviously I am the Registered Keeper & wish to appeal but I am awful with writing letters & need a little bit of help. I understand I need to use the Newbies help thread but can someone point me to bit I need to use on the thread to put into the appeal on thier website please?

When was the alleged infringement? Windscreen ticket or postal PCN?
If you're within the time frame for appealing you don't need to write a letter. Go to the Newbies' thread and scroll down until you see the appeal which is in blue text all the way through. Use that as your appeal. Make sure you appeal as Registered Keeper - if there's a drop down box it may be a little jumpy and revert to 'Driver' unless you're careful. Funny that! Take a screen shot of the appeal so that there's evidence of appealing as RK.0 -
Postal PCN 10 days ago.
Thank you I shall look now.0 -
Hi Penguin,
I read your PM but don't usually reply to PMs - it's a bit dodgy on here (though I'm sure you're sound as a pound!). I'd advise you not to respond to any PMs you get either, unless they're from the super-reliable experienced regulars who have 1,000 posts + + +!
Just use the entire template .... all the blue text. At this stage it doesn't really matter if some bits are not entirely relevant. The template covers most circumstances, it helps Newbies to avoid making errors AND it sends the parking company the message that the Keeper is being guided by the information on this forum and is likely to fight back effectively. That sometimes makes parking companies give up!
More likely though, PP will decline the appeal. They usually do, no matter what it contains. But you will get a POPLA code which means you can appeal to POPLA if you wish. It is at the POPLA stage that you really get the chance to fight back and are more likely to win.
When you get a chance, tell us a bit more if you want the best help. How long was the alleged overstay?0 -
Thank you Misty,
I did what you said & sent off the template. They have come back & said "We must therefore request that the details of the driver of the vehicle at the time of the contravention are supplied; this must include their full name and serviceable UK postal address. If you are unwilling or unable to provide these details the registered keeper of this vehicle will remain liable for this PCN."
The alleged overstay wasn't horrific & was possibly around 30 minutes as we had stopped for food.
Any advise as to what to do next?0 -
Dont give out the driver's name and address - Appeal it and dont pay up.0
-
So do I ignore their email & just wait for whatever they say next?0
-
Yeah ignore their request for the drivers details, but dont forget about the time scales for POPLA appeals.0

Ok thanks, will go back & re-read the timescales for POPLA appeals.0 -
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Thanks, I have no idea where to start with complaining to my MP but I will have a look at the link.0
