Oh wow, so quite a lot if interest. So I think we need to move the thread onto what we would like to, where we would like to do it and where we would all like to stay. So next step is to come up with an ideal meeting point where we could all become acquainted (Wetherspoons of Lloyds cheap drink and food) if we decided to meet in a pub, what we want to do on the night - reflex sounds good to me:) Once we have more alternatives and suggestions for the day, I'll start some poll threads eh using all the infor from here. Don't know what bommer or newmum1 think (being local) - but for drinks/chat etc then I'd say the Moseley or Harborne areas are good!! Both are about 10-15 minutes in a taxi from the centre- realise that may cause extra expense though...oh well - I don't go out in the centre of Brum anymore (3 kids put a stop to that!) so can't really suggest anywhere in centre of town (my pubbing/clubbing days are long gone!!)

Perhaps anyone who has been out more recently may be able to give some good suggestions!! :D

I think it should be somewhere we can chat as well as drink. Although a bit of dancing later on in the evening would be good too! (I missed the Irish dancing last time....still gutted.....:() :rotfl:

Thinks we need to sort out what everyone wants on this night out.

I think that's going to be very important - it'll also help people make up their mind whether they're coming or not, and what sort of budget they should have...
