right best say this before we start really planning then you can decide if you will dump me of not :rotfl: i dont 'do' clubs/pubs i have only ever been in two pubs in my life, one on a college trip where were were in the middle of the lake district so the pub was empty and the other is the pub i go to for my cheap meals but the restrant is seperate from the main pub. Now i am willing to 'try' these things out however put me in a loud club with loads of people and someone will have to supply me with drinks out the window :rotfl: that is my worse fear. I dont mind quite pubs where we can stand around chatting/fouling about knowing last years meet but loud clubs is a no no for me. Dont get me wrong if you would like to do that sort of thing you can go ahead i am sure i can amuse myself i am just pre warning you all before i arrive and then make a big who ha and spoil all your plans.

PaP - I can't see anyone treating you with anything other than the greatest of respect. I still don't know if I will be able to go, but I would not be there purely for the excuse of getting 'p1ssed' (might happen though). I would genuinely want to meet some of the many 'virtual' friends, yourself included, that I have made through DFW, and I'm sure that the evening would cater for all tastes/requirements.

No problem PAP. Actually if you want we can all meet in a cafe near the station. I can't currently think of one but I'll have a look this saturday (or next time in Brum). There should be plenty.

BTW. I saw a post from Keren saying she would be attending, but it now seems to have disappeared. I know the forum has a few gremlins at the moment so I hope it is just that. In that case, Keren, I look forward to seeing you again!

Gingerste & Snaggles - how are you getting down to Birmingham from Leeds(area)?

Hiya! Probably train or coach I think, I'm rubbish at driving and my car has recently had to be put out of it's misery, so I would have to drive Stu's car, which I don't really like doing as it's a lot bigger than my little Micra was!

Yes, meeting at the station and travelling down together is a great idea! :T

Who else is in the Leeds area that is coming, apart from me, you and Cat?

Pap, please don't worry, you wont be left out, I promise! I'm not keen on big, noisy clubs either, although I do like a couple of drinks, a laugh and a dance. Come along, let your hair down, have some fun, but don't feel pressured into doing anything you don't want to do.

Just to clarify, I already live in Brum so won't be needing to be "roomies" with anyone.
:confused::confused: Why the heck did I think you were from Leeds? I must be going mad!!!
